THOSE VIEWS 👌
Erin lol
Hill???Darlin... that’s a proper mountain. Well done!!
Great views, indeed. How do you actually find the paths? Any trail marks (that is standard case in my country) direction tables, or you just look and decide that some footpath "looks up enough"?

Scotland's landscape is my favorite in the entire world!
You should get a GoPro
I have a GoPro - just don't use it enough! And me toooo
I NEED to get up the munros 🏔🏔🏔 awesome as always Erin 😊🙌🏴
Thanks Shaun! If you want a munro buddy, gimme a shout :D this one is a fun starter though - not quite munro height but a decent height :)
It's videos like this that make me regret not backpacking through Scotland back in '94 when my 2 best friends did. I was too broke but dammit I should've begged borrowed and stolen to go with them. They got eaten alive by midges, caught in downpours until soaked to the bone, and roasted to a crisp in what was apparently the only actual summer in the history of Scotland. To see sights like these though? Totally worth it. Aaarrrg, where's my damn time machine?!?
Oh Erin, I love to watch your walking videos ...Scotland is just so breathtakingly beautiful and I am always amazed at how far you can walk....oh, and another thing I wanted to say...I think I heard you say in one of your vlogs that you take care of elderly people with dementia or memory issues...I hope I'm right about that. If so I want to commend you for the work you do. That speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. I think that is a most honorable profession and I just wanted to tell you thanks. I've had some first hand experience with family and dementia and I know how brutal, sad and maddening that type of illness is. Kudos to you.
Aww thank you very much! Yeah you're right, I'm a support worker :). Thank you
Erin, don't sell yourself sort. You have a natural talent for framing your shots..I am so impressed with the footage that you put together. The landscapes were amazing to look at. I had a really great time watching your videos. Keep up the brilliant work!!.
Thank you very much! :D
I live for your hill walks! Great vid!
Thank you!
Thanks for making videos and taking us along your walk journeys I love the views
Just beautiful! I’m so glad you got out and shared this it’s gorgeous!
Thanks for watching :)
Aw, it makes me tear up, it's so beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I miss Scotland!
Thanks for watching!
Hi Erin,
Thank you for your wonderful video! Once again the view was awesome. I don’t know where you get your energy, worked all day and then walk up a mountain. You have the greatest sense of humor while your doing it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Scotland with us all. Paul
Aw thank you!
I love this video!!! I love how you go out and explore on your own!!! So many people are afraid to try something or anything by themselves. You are a huge inspiration, that while sometimes you may have to go it alone, give it a try, go see, go do something you like to do. Keep up the great work. I always look forward to your videos when they show up on the notification.
Thank you!!
Great video Erin! I miss Scotland so much and those amazing hills!.
Can’t wait to visit and try this hill!!
Such beautiful scenery. I think I will have to add this to my bucket list. Thank you for filming it.
Such breathtakingly beautiful views and a great video too! Thank you Erin for all that you do! I hope you found your sunglasses😎too.
Thank you!
Oooh will need to try this one 😮 I know what you mean about feeling better when you’re outside, something about it just completely lifts my mood no matter what
You’re not wrong Meg Getting outdoors and climbing a few hills definitely lifts the mood... unless it’s teaming it down 😆
You will - it was fun! Yessss it's the perfect therapy.
Love this video! So beautiful!! 😍😍
Whatever Erin does, she always looks awesome. :). Love the video and love the gorges scenery. Scotland is so beautiful!
Aww thank you Amber!
Wow it seems so beautiful !! I love your walking vlogs ! And I love the fact that there is no background music so we can here the wind and the birds 😊
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them. Yeah I always sway between putting music over them or not, but I think I prefer them without.
What a beautiful place! Such amazing view!!!!
Lovely just lovely!
I always feel better outside too. I wish I would have had more time to frolic in nature while I was visiting Scotland.
glad you're feeling a bit better. beautiful views omg! and such a bonnie wee slug. i am a slug fan. they're like exhibitionist snails out & about in the skud. wish. wish i could get out and walk it seems lovely.
Haha! Thanks for watching :)
I’ve been hiking a lot lately, I have no idea how you were able to film through that! That hill looks fabulous, but I know I’d be completely out of breath on that one. Well done Erin!
I was pretty out of breath for most of it haha! Thank you :)
Great walk Erin ........inspired me to do more , hidden valley next time
these are my favourite videos you do they really inspire me to do the same!!
Aww thank you!
I'm loving Scotland! Been here only 3 days and I've already seen a lot. Camped in the Trossachs last night and am having a big breakfast in Balloch! Great food is inexpensive here. Thanks for all the info for this trip, Erin. Love your channel. Headed back to Glasvegas today. If you want to see one of your American fans compete, I'll be throwing at Helensburgh Saturday, and Markinch on Sunday.
Absolutely stunning
Great views from up there and another to add to my list. Good to see you back enjoying the outdoors and with a wee bit of your mojo back, sounds like it has been a tough wee run recently. Thanks for another great hill vlog and hope you found your ‘gegs’.
Yesss I'd definitely recommend it! Thanks for watching :)
The funniest thing...the last time I was on this hill I found a pair of sun glasses, but that was some ten years ago. One of my favourite hills by the way. Good vlog,.
the hills you climb make feel so unaccomplished after my local walks
This is another travel venture of our own dear Erin. Thank you for taking us along on this hike and sharing some more of Scotland's natural beauty. I wish I was in good health so I could hiking through some of the hills and mountains in my neck of the woods and brag about Mother Nature's kissings we have. Have a wonderful week, Erin. Keep your energy levels up. Whether it's your hiking, your health, of your mindset, you do have natural beauty without make up. Hugs, from this crazy sailor in Oregon.
Glad you got out and into the hills. Best way to have a nice evening out in the summer. AND DAMN THEM MIDGES.
Small hug for you for doing the hill.
Agreed!
Can't wait till someday getting to wear my kilts traversing the hills there👏
Will leave the foundation happiness to me wifey.
Beautiful views, & thanks again for sharing.
Incredible views, and clean air. Well done. If I had wheels (and motivation) I'd be up there every weekend.
Well done gal, looks like a great walk and those views 😍 Will need to tackle this one soon!! 🏴⛰
Thank you! You should - it was lovely!
Ahhhhh, just love Arrochar...
Great video I stay in Arrochar always wanted to do this one
Beautiful view, Erin you did good .
Erin. Take your time. If you feel like taking a break from vlogging will help or even if your not sure. Try it. In any case. I love your videos. I have a good laugh. Good luck on any of your adventures
Amazing views!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
WOW. Beautiful scenery
Spectacular views Erin. Nature is so therapeutic. I know what you're talking about with the heat. I can't take the heat like I once did. Had a bad case of heat exhaustion in 2013. I finally had to cut my hair short but it's a sassy rocky hairstyle. I love it. Today it's in the triple digits with the heat index. No going outside today. You take care of yourself Erin and have a blessed week. 💕☺
Aww amazing! Enjoy your week also :)
It's still a hot blazing beast here. Heat index is in the 100's. Not much fun outside. Should cool down by the weekend. 💜
What scenery!
Love your videos, sorry to have missed you when you toured Indianapolis in America. I am only 45 minutes away from there.
Everything is better after a hill. I definitely need more hills. I had Lossiemouth beach last week and that was nice but nothing beats a hill.
*geek face* "okbye"
I totally agree that after a hillwalk the skin looks way better! I mean, when I am in the city during my lessons at university, I have to put my make-up over and over again and still I don't look "perfect". When I do a hillwalk I am always afraid that I look terrible but when I have oportunity to see myself in the mirror I almost always look great :D
Hahaha yessss this is it!
Incredible scenery. I wish I had one tenth of your energy Erin. Lol! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching :)
Sweet that looks like a fun hike 😀 Love the mountains with no trees ,very different from the mountains I go on, beautiful 🏔 😀
I love your hill walks there the best I love Glencoe that is my favourite place to go to
C’mon we need some more views and likes!! Erin is awesome!!
Amazing views!
So beautiful!
I was at a loss for words when I first saw this video. I live in a pretty flat area, and the closest mountains are maybe 150 miles away.
Damn this was awesome
Thank you Erin
Hi Erin! This is a nice area along the A83 near TRBT. Love the view from here...I always hike down to the Butter Bridge...then go along to Loch Fyne Oysters or The George Hotel in Inveraray or the Stagecoach Inn in Cairndow (via automobile of course). One must have a meal and a beverage after such inspiring treks. You blogs are always inspirational and interesting. Thank you so much, Erin. Take care.
Yep it's lovely! Thank you.
Nice - was up here last weekend :) never got a view from summit - so nice to see it here 👌⛰👍
Thanks for the beautiful view.
Wow, those views are amazing! We don't have anything like that here on LI, I'm very jealous. Keep up the great work!
LOVED this climb, the views are sensational!!! Oh to be in Scotland again ☺️ Next year, hopefully Covid19 will have passed by then making travel easier. Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work, take care during this trying time.
beautiful view.
being in nature, especially exercising in nature, always relieves my mental stress. 💪 but because of my acrophobia I can't go hiking on mountains. so it's just flatland and not so steep hills for me. 😅 so I am happy and appreciate that you sharing your hikes.
the ending of this vlog was the sweetest and funniest thing. 😄
Thanks for sharing that amazing view, Erin!!! And dont worry.....I would have been breathing waaaaay harder than you!
Amazing views Erin so beautiful but Scotland is beautiful
A very nice view from the top there, and a nice tip about sweating doing just that for the last few days pfft
Un-freaking-real. These views never get old. I hope you found your sunglasses. I guess you did. Also I wonder if this is among the highest peaks you've hiked. From the videos I've seen I can't remember a higher vantage point. But one thing's for damn sure---they are all otherworldly.
Unfortunately, I didn't find my sunglasses! This one isn't quite munro height, it's 901m - Buachaille Etive Mor and Ben Lomond were higher :) thanks for watching!
Wow, what gorgeous view. You are a great hiker.
I have no idea why OI haven't gone out after work and done a walk like this... The weather right now is superb and the views are amazing at height! I'm definitely setting aside some time to do a walk like this.
I definitely almost die walking in the heat but YEP, worth it for the views! Dooooo it
Wonderful mountains and the view up there so beautiful ❤👏
Agreed!
The heat in Scotland is unbelievable just now. I did The Cobbler yesterday and it was like St Tropez up there - very debilitating.
I love this video Scotland is so beautiful! If I was there and I bumped into you, I would totally give you a pair of sunglasses
Cool vid. Am going to go up there tomoro. Av passed it lots in the car. 1st time av come across you on UA-cam Al watch more ov your vids later.. Kev from Glasgow. X
Well done hen💚💚
Thanks Steven!
Outstanding ;) well done ;) It is very good to know that u have released energy that has sadden u recently... I can only hope that when u had reached the top u pondered upon your family, friends - past, present - and future, and gave thanks - and gratefulness..... :) Now it is time to move forward..... Good luck :)
Excellent video!! The views are glorious! I wish that I lived closer to mountains so I could go hiking more often! But alas I live in the prairies haha
Thank you!!
Yasss! Your hillwalks are always amazing, #sceneryonfleek
Thank you!
YES LADS
Beautiful views, I would love to do one of those hill climbs. Of course I would just love to visit Scotland period. I know one part of my family comes from Inverness. Hopefully without coming off as too creepy, I would also like to add that you look very beautiful as well, sweat or no!
fantastic views! thanks for sharing :)
Great video Erin and I loved the scenery. Would love to be able to get out and admire nature more. I hope you found your sunglasses. I have lost so many I have lost count.
Thank you! Didn't find them unfortunately.
BAL is a serious hill. Kudos `Erin.
Erin ! OH MY LORD !!!
Pretty impressive climb that Erin. At 2,956ft, Being An Lochain is higher than Cader Idris here in Wales which stands at 2,930 ft. Especially so with the unseasonable hot weather we are getting lately. Also you are brave to do it on your own but visibility looks good and if you've done it before, experience helps. Shame it isn't quite a Munro, 3,000ft needed for that !
Fantastic views, many thanks for sharing.
Yeah I didn't fancy a munro after work that night haha. I usually go my walks alone though! I enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much for your hiking videos. I love them!! I have two questions for you: 1) How bad do storms get where you are? Do you get loud thunder and bad lightening? 2.) Have you heard of a product called Deep Woods Off? I live in a hot, humid buggy area and this works well to prevent mosquito, black flies, and other annoying biting insects. I wonder if it would work on midges.
Thanks for watching! 1. We occasionally get thunder and lightning. Not toooo often! Now and again. 2. I haven't!
ah I miss Scotland so much! this is not helping either :P I should really go back there sometime soon
So beautiful. I would love to take a hill walk and so would my dog
Brilliant!!! Great wee mountain this one and the filming was excellent :) PS Did you find the sunglasses?
It’s a serious hill. Kudos Erin from `Portincaple...
Amazing....👍
Really enjoy getting to go along on your hill walks. Many thanks! The view from the summit was magnificent! Hope you found your sunglasses on the way back down to your car. Oh, yeah, that "something" in your eye was your finger! ;^)
Thanks! I didn't find them unfortunately.
Very cool 😎 looking hike. Must have been great to have a packed lunch at the top. At the very least have a bottle at the top. Thanks for sharing. Aloha
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for posting. Aloha
Your hillwalking vlogs are really my fav! Stunning landscape! How hot was it? Think I saw a photo of your sunburnt leg on your IG stories and thought it looked nasty. It's more challenging to hike when it's hot as it drains more energy and you sweat so much.. do post more of these vlogs pretty please!
Aww thank you! I can't remember but it was in the 20s (celsius) with barely any wind. Usually it's pretty windy here! Ahh yeah thankfully I didn't burn - that was just my tan hahah! Yeah, definitely harder. And I will :D
Beautiful views, very cool hike! Curious what the temperature was as you were roasting and there was snow in a couple of places, lol!
It was in the 20s (celcius) with no wind! Usually it's pretty windy here so it feels cooler.
Beautiful country, I hope to visit Scotland one day. If you're feeling adventurous, it would be awesome to see you vlog an overnight stay in a bothy. Cheers.
Well done you!!
It's like being near heaven
I feel like a lazy slug sitting on my couch watching you climbing but it is a spectacular view. Well done as always! Did you find your sunglasses?
Thank you! I didn't :(
HOLY COW !! Insanely beautiful ! How long did it take to climb up? I hope we can do (some) climbing when we come in December. I know it’s kinda a crap shoot at that time of year with the weather,,, (not to mention I’m not as fit as you 😂🙈) do you ever worry about slipping and turning your ankle or something some of those shots looked kinda scary !
It took me 2 and a bit hours to get to the top I think, because of all the filming etc. And having a seat. But my friend got to the top in 1 hr 10. Sometimes I think about slipping, but I just have to make sure I don't 😂
Beautiful video! I really enjoyed this. I was totally living vicariously through you. How long did this hike take you?
Thank you! It took me 2 and a bit hours with all the filming/faffing/going up and back down to get the camera etc but my friend did it in 1 hr 10.
That is an amazing hike! Sometimes it can be very therapeutic to get in a walk or hike alone. Especially with scenery like that.
You don't want to shave your head, trust me! As a bald person you get sweat dripping (#drippin) all down your face and occasionally a gnat, other insect, or some piece of leaf will get stuck to the side of your skull. 🤣🤣🤣
Hope you found your glasses. 😎 I usually loose two or three pairs every summer.
I don't know why but it sounded so funny when you said, "Dammit!". 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe it's the accent?
It is! Haha!
