- Tonight's parable is from Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 176.
"If We had willed, We would have elevated him with Our signs, but he clung to this life-following his evil desires. His example is that of a dog: if you chase it away, it pants, and if you leave it, it ˹still˺ pants. This is the example of the people who deny Our signs.1 So narrate ˹to them˺ stories ˹of the past˺, so perhaps they will reflect."

JazakAllah for this. Terrifying message indeed. "The higher you are the harder you fall." May Allah enlighten us on how to stay true to the path and allow us to maintain sincere intentions. Ameeen.
True. It gave me goosebumps
One of the ayats I see is when it rains I think of the thick white rain that Allah S.W.A will send on earth when everything has perished and it will bring everyone back into existence again.
58:12 this is so important bcs even for non scholars and people who start learning about Islam , everyone expects them to be perfect in every sense as if learning Islam makes us sinless all of a sudden.
Most people only see with eyes, not the heart. Only with quran we will survive in this world, and akhirat
Subhanallah.. What a beautiful lecture.
Scary reminder. Mashallah.

Thanks for sharing this enlightening video! It's a powerful reminder that while knowledge is crucial, it's Allah's guidance that truly illuminates our path. Without His light, even profound knowledge can lead us astray. Let's prioritize aligning our pursuit of knowledge with His guidance. Here's a question for reflection: How do you ensure your knowledge is guided by Allah, and how does it impact your daily decisions? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🤔💬
Remind me of sheikh alislam Alghzali to kill his ego and state of fame he became a servant of a masjid in Damascus.

Quran wants us to reach Allah please Allah through the ayat .
Trying to please people is worthless and they'll never value our efforts but if we put minor efforts in way of Allah we'll be rewarded.
Choice is ours it's all about choices 🤍
Assalam alaikum
If we stop a little bit to contemplate the word
We will find that Allah mention it in another two surt with two different examples,
And one of them stops me in surt Yasin, Allah says that,
And a sign for them is the night.
We remove from it [the light of] day,
And what is the purpose of the example that the light goes away,so they are [left] in darkness.
And what stops me what happened to knowledgeable one from this [انسلاخ] that" his "light" goes "away" because of his ungratitude Allah's Ayat
It's a scary Ayah to contemplate about. It hits deep inside to be mindful of Allah on us, be careful about what we say and what we do.
May Allah clear our hearts from things he doesn't love and increases what he loves by his mercy and care
Amen
In this slowly contemplation of Ayat in Ramadan, like Allah says
And I found this happened with me all the month

Assalaamu alaikum. Our sister in Islam who is a widow with four children ; what country are you writing from?

We should pray 4 each other n thats a v good thing 2 pray 4 others...wats so wrong to ask others to pray for us.....!!🤷♀btw m just speaking generally..
Because you have your own mouth and no one have access to Allah(swt) than the other. Praying for someone is one thing, but requesting someone to pray for you because you think they have better access to Allah(SWT) is not Islam. That is Christianity. They is no intersection between you and your lord.

Exactly
That person can be any MUSLIM (person submitting to Allah). Ask soon as he/she say/do act of kufur, a big Satan direct jump on and tried their best to kill him/her in that state of kufur. Scary, because I had experienced that 20 yrs ago before syahada.

Palestine is a Farsi word/name "پا و دستان - paa-va-dastan" which means legs and hands for work building homes.Disciple is "دست [و] پا دار - dast-o-paadar" which means "having [skilled] hands and legs".Cross/Christ is "کار است - kaar-ast" which means "It is the work [which determines the ownership of a home, the one who built it].Scripture "است کار چاره - ast-kaar-chareh", it means "The solution is WORK".At that time everyone except a few who claimed the ownership of all lands and water passed to them by their ancestors, everybody else were homeless, trespassers and slaves to the landlord.Palestinians were the workers who helped Eesa Messiah (Jesus) build homes using wood in the form of Cross as the joints of the structure making permanent residence. Disciples were the skilled worker/foreman.
Crucifixion it has another meaning also. How do you establish a House (family)? Then how do you destroy a House? You crucify it - the lineage stops. That's why when crucifixion is mentioned, its usually followed by commentary regarding *women* weeping.
Falastine is said to derive from the word Peleshet, the beautiful land.
Salaam.
Women weeping is what women do, what is it's connection with Cross ? @@marykilbane7738
