I have this in Chrome on my supported Windows 11 23H2 laptop. I use Privacy Badger to block trackers, but it can break some websites, so you have to take time to adjust it. So far the Chrome third-party cookie blocker has not caused any problems, unlike the one Brave has.

Thank you for this! I am part of that 1% and it has ruined my browsing experience - especially with my favorite websites like Twitch. It basically breaks Twitch, Amazon, and a few other sites I regularly visit. I've left some pretty nasty feedback comments for them :) But - I followed your steps here and disabled the feature. We'll see if loading Twitch works - which is my main source of entertainment. Of course, it doesn't break UA-cam - but Twitch seems to really hate the feature.

This is being rolled out on edge now as well and it breaks SSO for alot of websites and applications. People are going to want to disable this for their organizations or add exceptions for sites that use affected types of SSO.

3rd party cookies will still exist. Heres what is really happening: cookies with the SameSite:None; setting (3rd party) will also need the Partitioned; setting. Otherwise they will not be set. The partition setting prevents the cookie from being read accross multiple domains.

I am so sick and tired of google third party, several times a day my internet drops and I cannot reconnect due to the new tabs displaying google third party. I'm thinking of stripping google out completely.

When Google perfects it I will come back. Right now it's Duck Duck Go. I don't trust any of it. What do regular people know about tech? They have us by the balls.
