My one overall thought while watching was, "Boy, do they have a strong work ethic!". Loved seeing you and your husband work together and can't wait to see each progress video! (And, girl--you are STRONG!!)
Hannah I just wish I had half of your energy and motivation. You go girl. My husband and I remodeled our old house when we were young. It’s a big job. Lots of good memories working together. We lived there for 30 years and now our son built us a new home in a new location.

It's rare in this Era that couples work together. So nice to see you both working on your home, as well as other home side jobs. Very hard body sore work that feels so rewarding. Can't wait to see the finished house. The new couple will love it I'm sure.
Oh and I’d go with flooring #2! Warm and woodsy. I think that shade also wouldn’t show dirt and dust as quickly. Dark flooring shows every bit of dust and “sweaty” footprints 👣 especially when the sun shines on it.
You and your husband are an amazing team and a testimony to all couples! Great progress.

I enjoy watching you and your husband work together which is exactly what it supposed to be. As far as the flooring goes, #2 is my favorite.
I love to watch you tear them down and build them back up! I love #2 for the floors. On my TV that one looked both a little brown and a little gray so it would pretty much go with anything.
Flooring number 2. Number 1 would show dust, carpet fibers, any pet hair and dander in my humble opinion.
I think you should make long vedio because we lv to watch all your reno projects

The darker flooring is going to show every little thing. The lighter flooring will hide a lot of that plus I just prefer lighter to darker flooring! Wow! You are Wonder Woman! I haven’t looked at your flooring options, but I would choose vinyl plank over laminate every time! Our in-law apt has laminate, which has to be treated with kid gloves, because it scratches so easily. We have LVP in our house, & it’s so durable! It’s also 100% waterproof. Looking forward to your next video! 😊❤

Don’t do anything with gray in the floor I have a feeling it will date the house quickly.
I vote for #2. I feel that tile is less likely to go out of style and show less dirt then some of darker samples.

Hannah, I love your channel. I have one suggestion for you for taking out carpet tac strips… Use a shovel (spade) 😊 I know it sounds weird. We just did a home remodel and I was removing the carpet strip the same way that you guys were in the living room. We had a friend tell us to use the shovel… It was a game changer! Easier on your back and your knees. And way faster.

Hannah ..." A virtuous woman". You make a wonderful Team. You're like a couple of little tornadoes. The house looks better already. I think what the people were doing with the outlet covers is from what I understand in places where there's scorpions and other small animals that can hurt you, Can come in throughout outlets. So they caulk and put some kind of filler in there so they're not able to enter into the home. ❤ Hugs

I really do like these renovation house transformations in quick time and I bet you wish it did only take that long to do all the work that you have done. I like flooring option 5, just because I like grey tones and think that you can put so many other colours with that shade. I’m sure you will make a good decision what ever you choose and I will look forward to the next instalment.

Hannah I am on team demo. I love the end results. A clean slate and a clear vision. What luck with the tiles. Walls are in pretty good shape. Jalin will be able to spray paint the bedrooms quickly before carpet arrives. When I used to do full demos Always had sewer pipes cleaned out to the city sewer or septic tank. Easier to fix a problem at this stage. fyi.
I like option 1 for flooring. This is a cute house and you will make it beautiful.
Don't know if you have ever seen or heard of a SolaTube. Like a sky light only it fits between joist. No extra framing required. Installed in bathrooms without windows or long hallways. Brings in natural light day or night Without any Heat.
Also added a foam gasket to insulate all electrical wall outlets to prevent/keep cold air outside. Already preformed for single or double outlets or switch plates. Home Depot or Lowe's.
