I actually ordered this from Buck a Day back in the day. After I made my first payment and noticed the balance not drop(interest rate was high), I paid it off with visa and never did something so stupid again lol. Was a good life lesson.
Never thought of interest rates back then since it was posted on their commercials like they do with cars. I built my own computer around this time from the ground up. It's funny because a "friend" of mine was super jealous I was doing it that he was just telling everyone it was a clone lol.
I’m surprised to see this is from 2001. I always associated it with the nineties. (Though one could argue the “nineties” as we remember them didn’t really end until 9/11.)
