Listening back to my videos, I see that all my piano dynamics are compressed to a general loud volume- but I assure you I’m playing very soft in real life:)).
I specifically remembered this excerpt from the red book, where it says even if you cant play the 2nd half quietly, you have to give the impression of playing quietly
These are great tips for alternate fingerings in the upper (hell) register! I always enjoy new videos!! I would love to hear a practice guide for the Vivaldi C Major.
Glad the video is helpful! I had to edit out a lot of bad takes & swear words:)). I will def do Vivaldi C Major, but won’t get it done until after my piccolo gets an overhaul at end of September. Right now, my pic is leaking too much to do the Vivaldi justice.
