- So I've been on a Star Wars kick since Rogue One came out four months ago, and it's not stopping anytime soon. The Skywalkers kill me on a regular basis, so expect lots of Skywalker family videos. The moment I heard this song I knew I had to do it, it just fits them so damn well.
I tried really hard to include Leia because a lot of people seem to focus more on Luke's relationship with his parents, but I think in my attempt to rectify that I might have excluded him a tad. :/ I'm definitely going to make sure that doesn't happen in the next video.
That being said I really like how it turned out and I hope you all do too :)

Everyone compares the son to the father, and the daughter to the mother. Although Luke is definitely Padmé's son, both in appearance (round-faced with miniature features) and in qualities - he is as kind, gentle, reserved, wise and peace-loving as his mother. Leia is the true daughter of Anakin, she has the same look, the same oval face, even articulation. Leia, like her father, is impulsive, sarcastic, impatient, she is silent about her weaknesses, but she has a good heart. Of course, she has the qualities of Padme (just as Luke has Anakin's), she is a strong politician and a leader whom everyone listens to. Luke is a strong Jedi and sometimes reckless.
Why I'm torturing myself by watching Anakin&Padme mvs all night even if I know I will end with red and puffy eyes after crying that whole night? I must be a masochist or something

My heart breaks for Anakin and Padme so much. They wanted to have a happy life with their babies. This is just so tragic that they lost each other trying to save each other. And Luke and Leia are equal parts their parents, they carry them within

This made me cry more than Revenge of the Sith. I was watched the fourth Episode of Obiwan Kenobi. It's so wicked intense. Anakin so wanted to be a father. Then Palpatine turned him evil when all he wanted to do was save his wiife, Palpatine is a monster!
The family they could have been. I need an alternative ending where they live happily ever after.

I always took it as vader looking at leia at cloud city and wanting to change the arrangement as he sense familiarity with her and she reminded him of padme, she also has alook of shmi. He stared too long at her. He knew excately who's lukes sister was when he revealed it.

The last words of this video hit me real hard, after that everything got fucked up. Padme was the few things that would defeat Ani's never ending anger, hatred, pain. There were Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmè Amidala, C-3PO, R2-D2. Ty for them.
