I was trying to go for Luke by himself in the not so happy bits and then him with his friends in the chorus :)
I pitched the music so hopefully it can be viewed everywhere.
So I'm pretty sure I fried my brain last night making this. I hardly ever edit anything over a minute and a half and this is like... 3:30 and I did all of it yesterday afternoon/night o.o
You guys know I love dark!luke but cinnamon roll luke is just as good. And this is the first ever proper video I've made of him. All of the other ones have been dark!aus lmao

I've always known that.
I think Luke's story is an inspiration to all, once a boy who grew up like normal, and then rose to the occasion. Which can be all of us, all though we may be normal at the moment we can all be Legendary.

Gosh. I'm actually crying. This song is so inspirational and bringing it to Luke's story is just brilliant. His friends are his family and the people who anchor him in the midst of all the confusion he goes through in his life. UghHH I love him so much! Powerful vid. Wow, this is beautiful. What an utter disservice Disney did everyone. That crap will never be Star Wars, Luke and the rest of the Skywalkers (and I mean actual Skywalkers) are the heart and soul of Star Wars. It's disgusting they kept Han, Luke and Leia from having a reunion, at least. I can't believe there wasn't more uproar about that.

I love all your videos, Dark!Luke and cinnamon roll Luke too. :) Beautifully simple editing on this one. Sometimes that's all you need and too many effects can drown the feels. This is perfection!

I just wanted to say how beautiful and poignant I found this video. I don't comment on fan videos as much as I should but I felt this deserved it. Earlier today my mom and i were looking for some Luke tribute videos because we are both such big fans of him and we watched a couple before this one, some were adequate or decent, maybe one was vaguely awful but they tried and then we watched this one and wow, it hit the spot. You did such an excellent job with your editing! Neither of us had ever heard the song before but it's an excellent choice before and now I'm gonna have to look it up. You had excellent pacing and I loved the contrast between the verses and the chorus. This video did an stupendous job at capturing not only Luke's struggles and his journey as a whole but also the strength and importance of his relationship to his friends. I was just incredibly moved. I decided to rewatch it just now as its been a few hours and this time i turned off my lights and watched it full screen on my laptop and honestly, I cried. That may have something to do with my love of Luke Skywalker but I'm going to give you and your skillful editing some of the credit. Marvelous job. I especially like, that though you weaved around chronologically throughout the video that the first shot was of Luke alone on Tattooine and the last shot was of him happy at the celebration on Endor. That was just such a nice touch for your theme. Okay, I'm done rambling! thank you for this video, it served as a just tribute.

this video reminds me of the amazing chemistry between Mark, Carrie and Harrison....and how much of an opportunity was wasted when the Disney sequels didn't bother reuniting all 3 of them in even one scene. And now it's something that will never happen since we lost Carrie. It's only one reason for my dislike of the sequels. One of many. Rest in Peace, Princess.
