Very nice. At the end we have "I loved and I loved and I lost you, and it hurts as hell" just as Vader (here silently) screams in despair to learn that Padmé is dead. So we could assume that the "I" of the song represents Anakin, despite this being a female singer. But I actually find it just as interesting to regard the "I" of the song as Padmé's voice and perspective. She does lose Anakin to the manipulations of Palpatine BEFORE he, in turn, loses her to death. The last time on Mustafar, a heartbroken Padmé has to tell him to his face, "You've changed ... I don't know you anymore." The man she had loved is no longer the personality in control; Anakin's better self has been buried and overshadowed by the earliest version of Darth Vader.
That ending was chilling! Great job on capturing the emotions of these two. They held so tightly to the glass of their lives together that it shattered.
Oh my, this is just stunning. The coloring, the scene choices, and the tone. I can feel the exact emotion you are trying to convey with this. I am in awe. I love it!!!!
Wow, this song is truly perfect for them, you're absolutely right! I especially loved how you sneaked in the suspicions of the Jedi and having to keep their love secret from them (that part was especially fitting the lyrics!) and that little contast with scenes you did at 01:43. Them walking together and then when he turns he is alone...love the symbolism. But the video as a whole is gorgeous, you always bring out the best out of these two!
