Artist´s name who created the sculpture is Antony Howe in case you like to see more of his work..I must admit that this one is something that I cannot describe with words..is beyond hipnotizing...feels like observing the creation of the universe itself

That was the second cauldron. This was the first cauldron inside the stadium. ua-cam.com/video/N_qXm9HY9Ro/v-deo.html

This is the biggest rip-off I have fallen for. It is much smaller than it looks. Does NOT move like shown and rusted after just a few days. There is NO information where or how to return it. Don't fall for this one like I did. 😫

Excuse me but could you, please, explain what would you want to return to whom? Can't understand the expression.
      ..."after just a few days"?
This video is now six years old, from when the american sculptor made those cauldrons...
Rust is a real issue... And the mayor should take serious care of it. Not only about the local history but also because its movements depends on the wind strenght and, despite the location about the sea this is not a windy place.
I don't know what people said to you but the truth is: In 2016 games there was two cauldrons - This little one got installed as a memento for the city inhabitants and remains is on the street - Visits are ticket free.
The large one only was exposed through the games, inside the Maracanã Stadium under quite expensive tickets. It got dismantled after that and we don't know of it after that.
Both cauldrons kept the olimpic flame during the games at the same time.
