Great review! Just reached 600mi on mine and so far, very few complaints. On the good side: one of the best off road adjustable rebound suspensions I've ever ridden but also great on road, built like a tank and zero rattles/squeaks, absolutely rigid stem, tons of low end torque for only being 1000w motors, nice easy to read display and control pad, great range of up to 50mi at 16mph flat cruising, great deck and kick plate angle, awesome brakes and feel. Minor issues: Cruise control is surge-y. With cruise on your turn a corner, riding on the smaller inside diameter of the tire, which tricks the cruise into thinking the scooter is going faster, cutting the power. Then when you stand it back up after the turn, the power surges. The same thing happens up and down minor grades. They need to relax the sensitivity values a bit. The tires say tubeless but they're not, Let the air out and wiggle the stem... they're definitely tubes. I already had to seal one with sealant and had the tire broken down off the rim. The battery is smaller than stated and is actually between 1210Wh and 1248Wh not 1350Wh. GoTrax lists it different on the website, instruction manual and on the scooter itself. The bottom of the deck as well as the battery, has a sticker right on it stating that it's 50.4V 24Ah = 1209.6Wh. That said, 50.4V is a odd voltage for a 58.8V input charger which makes me think it's a standard 52V scooter. 52V x 24Ah = 1248Wh, therefore the 1209.6 - 1248Wh range that I mentioned. Also, no regen braking. There may be larger scooters that do better on dirt but there are none smaller or lighter. An argument could be made for the Nami Klima due to its suspension but you'd have to install knobby tires because it comes with street tires. Still, the Klima is a 10" tire scooter and doesn't have the "float" in powdery trails or shallow sand that the GX3 has.
I took delivery of this literally less than a week ago and I tell ya whut it's a beast - it may not be the fastest scooter but it will drag you up a wall if you need it to got it on the summer sale so it was dumb cheap compared to anything close to its build strength and quality; I'm 230lbs (16.5 stone!) and the double rear suspension setup cannot be overstated how stable and responsive it is with zero flex in the front as well on hard pushes - the brakes are also dynamite too.
Paying 2k for a scooter with pneumatic tires is dumb. This company is terrible and their CS is awful. Had to open a pp claim to get my money back before they would do anything/respond
It's not just you, to scooter as a whole is too expensive: 2x 1000w for 2000? Not enough Advertised as an off-road scooter while not having the IP rating for a puddle Speed for the price is meh
Don't tell anyone, but when I got my GT2, I was so excited to ride it, I forgot to bolt the head on. Congrats, hope you love your new scooter. Also I have injured both shoulders and the ball of my right foot. Not from crashing but from overuse. These scooters are crazy addictive.
@@ValiRossi Where I live the laws are very strict on speed and use, but you can still get them, and rent them. One day I was telling my girlfriend "I rented one but it feels unstable and scary". Two days later I was laying down way too much money for one of my own.
What a GREAT video wow!!!!!! I’m 6’4” and also a size 14 shoe and this video was PERFECT!!!!! I always wondered how I would fit on this scooter and seeing you on this scooter it fits you perfectly just perfect! Thank you so much for making this video.
I bought this in May 2024. Put 80 miles on it and the rear hub motor crapped out. Apparently this is a problem that Go-Trax knows about. After spotty customer service, they ultimately replaced the scooter. They did the right thing. Apparently there is quite the delay of getting new rear wheel hubs. The scooter itself is awesome. More than enough speed, more than 40mph is nuts IMO. Brakes are great. Great off road and suspension is great. 35-40 miles range at best in middle mode. never getting 60miles on this thing.
Do not try riding in soft terrain like sand. Also, off road scooters have issues with the brake disc colliding with rocks and curbs because they don't have any clearance; they ride extremely close to the ground with no protection. In addition, the hydraulic brakes become clogged and seize closed often.
At these prices you really have to want a scooter because with awesome bikes like the ecells and wired freedom near this price range it's a hard decision to make.....I'm looking for a scooter that has a seat option that can carry my 230 frame and still be able to get 30mph + speeds as well as hill climbing and off road is a plus I just feel like these scooters are all the same but have different names....so many have all the same specs and even the same design on most of them a friend of mine told me he bought some Amazon scooter and it is half the price of these and performs just as good if not better 6months later and it's still going strong....its just so difficult to decide with all the "brands"
I actually got given a cheaper e-scooter earlier this year. Some intersting diffence with an e-bike is how much better they normally fold and once folded their a shape thats fairly easy to pickup / move around / put in vehicles were as lots of e-bikes fold but into awkard smaller shapes and are even heavier. The other difference scooters are a workout! Its surprising how much exersise it is to throw your weight forward back, side to side squating down so your legs are suspension for bumps. Not saying e-bikes cant be exercise, but aggresively riding a scooter i think makes you exercise in order to not fall over haha.
this looks on par with an ULTRON Electric Scooter with a steat mod free but its slower in charge rate. this ev razor costs + 400$ with fast-charge while being slower, if you use them for uber eats like deliveries the 2.5 + hr charge rate over 6hr charge rate makes a real difference. also these ev's with dual motors they are better to use on snow ridden streets an sidewalks if you ride in the winter time too.
I've wanted the GX3 since I first heard about it in 2023. But I found that replacing tubeless tires a little time consuming. Finding the proper tire size and beading them onto the rim was annoying. The additional speed and option of a split rim on the Vsett 10+ won me over.
The TailhappyTV guy has a whole other channel where he does scooters too? Where do you keep all these things? Or are they returned / sold after reviews?
Honestly I was considering getting this electric scooter I love everything about it, but I gotta save up money for quite awhile for how expensive it is 😔

No idea why people are obsessed with going 50mph on a scooter anyway, it's just dumb af. This scooter in the video is more than enough.

Better scooters to get for $2k. A base Nami Klima would destroy this for the same $1999.
