I just played this incredible music as loud as my computer would play it (with a woofer) and was so lost in it I had tears in my eyes and sang along (and I'm not even a believer!) but just as I was being converted my best friend in all the world phoned me to wish me a Merry Christmas and I let the music play just as loud and we grinned and shared a moment so precious. This was my gift. Thank you so very much. You just never know what your magical music can do my friend.
Congratulations on mastering this challenging instrument. Even though it's not Christmas, I can't stop listening to it. I swear, if I have difficulties playing the piano, then I'm definitely going to find it hard to play organ. But, I can't wait to try it.

Oggi carico il primo di una serie di brani di gusto decisamente natalizio, nonché uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto. “Hark! The Herald Angels sing”, che significa letteralmente “Ascoltate ! Gli Angeli messaggeri cantano”, è tratto dalla poesia “For Christmas Day” del poeta inglese e pastore metodista Charles Wesley mentre la melodia è tratta dal "Festgesang an die Künstler” di Felix Mendelssohn. Quello che potete ascoltare è una mia interpretazione organistica tratta dall’arrangiamento di David Willcocks, auguro a tutti un buon ascolto.

I love your choice of instruments for this selection since the Hereford is my second favorite after the Salisbury. I, too, have a four manual/pedalboard Hauptwerk console, but can only dream of also having your talent. Thank you for bringing me so much pleasure (along with just a touch of envy! :) ). Per il giudizio che Le ho indirizzato Le confermo che la Sua esecuzione della fuga bacchiata non ha molto da invidiare a celebrati santoni dell' interpretazione . Ovviamente come in tutti i settori nessuno può essere grande in tutti i campi della sua specialità, potrebbe che ill Suo messiaen non riscuotere , teoricamente , lo stesso giudizio espresso per una interpretazione di un diverso autore , Bextehude ad esempio. All these songs on the organ are beautiful. I love organ music, and hate how it is being replaced by the keyboard. nowhere near the same in beautiful sound at all.

The music is available in a book called "Carols for Choirs 1" from Oxford University Press, edited by Reginald Jacques and David Willcocks. It's a smaller book with a green cover, and has a great setting of Adeste Fideles in it as well.
