AMAZING! Thank you for the review Jack! What a fantastic product! I want to go for an Odyssey and I feel this scale will make a great addition! Awesome! Just awesome!
Thanks for the great review as always! This scale looks exciting- I think it's going to become the go-to coffee scale for home baristas. I've got the difluid Bluetooth scales but their thickness makes them an awkward fit for espresso machines... I'm tempted! 😅
Got one of these a few weeks ago after my Skale 2 died. Love it so far! It has such a premium feel and I love that it's small enough to fit on the drip tray. For what it's worth mine's been connecting to the Decent automatically every time, but I use a different tablet than the one it came with. Personally I would put the blame on any connectivity issues with the cheap tablet Decent provides.
The size is actually why I bought this one. It fits under the Cafelat Robot very comfortably. Most small scales just barely fit between the legs of the Robot. I would immediately buy a big version of this scale if the price is right. I do think the Varia Aku is hard to beat in the price range of the Bookoo scale.
@@mycoffeeshow111 Yes! I pull most of my shots via the smartphone app by Bookoo. I use an espresso mirror to perform pre-infusion (stop a while when the puck is saturated) and then I mostly look at the flow rate in the app and stop when I reach the weight line (which you adjust before a brew). I absolutely love the workflow. Before this kit, I preferred the workflow on a flair 58 and now it's the other way around. Pushing the arms down with mittens while standing over the robot is very satisfying.
@@78pianist they do work on few new projects. I have their 3 in 1 tamper to review next and obviously would love to get their newest gadgets if and when they are ready.
@mycoffeeshow111 sometimes! It's more of a faff, but I've enjoyed being able to unpick/ compare a shot after drinking so I can see affect of pressure and flow on taste, or try to repeat a good shot.. Good to learn from I think!
I expect it would be fine with the Bianca (or Mara X) V2 as long as Lelit didn’t change the thread size for the pressure gauge on the group head, which I don’t believe they did. I assume they’ve referenced V3 as it’s the current model of the Bianca. Will work with many E61 group head machines.
I think a scale this size is something many people want, me included. The USB c is nice too. But honestly, I could use a slight less "smart" scale. I just want the regular mode and possible espresso mode for timing for first drip as that is what I use with manual machines as it is just easier. Currently I use a SearchPean Tiny 2s and I really don't have any tangible complaints other than it not being USB-C and size. I want it to be half the size to work better with my travel setup. Maybe one day we will get a more basic, still touch screen, more budget option. Non touchscreens exist but I've killed two of them with water and channels, lol. Neat, nonetheless. I enjoyed the video as always, thank you!
@@kitcraft9516 thank you for watching. I do agree with your points. Still, very interesting scale especially if you are a coffee geek and want that espresso monitor as well. I will be reviewing some less smart scales soon.
I'd be interested in a "not smart" version, maybe slightly bigger, where I can see the weight and flow rate for espresso. I want some data, but I dont really want that much stuff.

@ Hi! I’m interested in the grinder. Can you share the model, burr type, hopper size, any extra features, and the price? Also, how old is it and what’s the condition? Thanks!
@ Sure. I am in London and listing is for UK only. First batch of Flat Max 2 with SSW 98mm burrs, some cosmetic scratches possible but otherwise very good condition , with original box and accessories . I listed it on Kafatek forum. Are you able to find me on Instagram to discuss the rest?
About to send mine back for a refund. Not worth it. The buttons are not very sensitive to touch. You can’t even see them. When you want to rate the scale with a glass on it, I have to turn it off and back on. Don’t waste your money. Buy an acaia.
