I would imagine you have to. he got fed up filming and took out his frustration that way, making people laugh on set. doing that kept him focused. I would imagine you need a lot of motivation to do film in general.

I don't see how they ever got anything done! 😂 It's weird to see these characters with humans beside them. I remember when this show was on. We'd watch it every week and used to pretend to hit each other saying "not the mama!" The show always felt so crowded to me, with the huge costumes, with characters that looked like they were too big for their own house. But I guess that was the point because they were dinosaurs. Also - I still have my McDonald's Happy Meal toys of Dinosaurs! I have the brother with a guitar and the dad with the lunchbox and the baby with the pan, and when you press the button they move their accessory, so the baby can swing the pan not-the-mama style.
This show was one of my favorites, and I wish they'd show more behind the scenes stuff on it, as it's really interesting to me. x3; Not 100% sure that was a real meltdown though, I think Kevin was probably just trying to entertain the rest of the crew to help them get through an otherwise long shoot. lol

If they are people in costumes, how the fk do their eyes, eyebrows and mouth move when they speak?! (Mouth is possible but the facial expressions on the mask change too! Is it editing?)
So back in the 90s the camcorder had the date set in them when you recorded. It wasn't something you could really fake, and had zero reason to screw with your camcorder's year in 94 because the internet wasn't a commercial thing at that point. Shit like this was recorded because you had the actual priveledge of being on set, and want the memory and seeing a video would help you remember things you didn't record.
