Recently a repairman replaced my balboa circuit board and now the topside pump controls are reversed. Pump 1 is being controlled by the pump 2 button and vice-versa. The guy is ghosting me now. How can I fix this? The filtration programs don’t work because “pump 1” (really pump 2) is not the 2 stage pump.

Hi Kevin, apologies on the delay in my response, i've been away. Open up the Spa Pack and swithc around the two connectors for the pumps. They should be white connections that just plug in. (on the BP7, usually J9 is the jet pump and J21 is the circulation pump) Swap them over and you will be all set (make sure you kill the breaker first) - your repair guy has just mixed them up when he put them back in - hope that helps - Andi

That’s what I thought too but pump 1 is the 2 stage pump with 4 wires. Pump 2 has only 3 wires. The connectors aren’t interchangeable.

Email me a clear picture of the PCB so I can see how it is connected. It could be that your tech didn’t program it correctly, when I see what you have connected I can advise - Andi (a.t) buildahottub.com
