@@elainehudson6693 because the devil wants you to doubt the true reason why God created you. God created you out of His own perfect love. He created us to first love Him because He wants a huge family to love. Second, He created us to go and give our testimonies and tell others who Jesus truly is and what He has done for us. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we can go to Heaven and be free of this world.
Have you accepted Jesus as LORD and Savior? If you haven't then please let me know.
First, you need to seek God in a deeper, intimate relationship. Discover the characteristics of who God is. Once you develop a deeper relationship with God, then recognize the devil is real. He is here to seek, kill, and destroy. He knows his time is fixing to be up and he is on a rampage. If the devil can distract God's children from the love of God and why He created us, then he has succeeded in keeping us from glorifying God and following Christ Himself. Thats why the devil does what he does. He thinks he can be better than God but he has failed at that so he tries to bring God's children down with him.
Elaine, I truly understand how you can question your life all the time. I have been there and done that. The devil had me believing that the ground we walk on is more important than my life. I was going through so much when I was 19yrs old. I was married to an abuser. Devil had me believing my life wasn't important. I tried committing suicide. Even though I didn't know God then, I can look back and see how God saved my life. Now, what would have happened if the devil had won that night? I wouldn't be talking to you right now. I definitely wouldn't have done what God has called me to do since that night. How God wants you to live your life might look different than mine....BUT...the end results are the same......Loving God with all our hearts and leading others to Christ.
Elaine, you have a beautiful life to live and love. God did state we will go through trials and tribulations but we are to love our lives. Trust me, I'm just now learning this...walking it out with God. So focus on developing a deeper relationship with Him. That's what God wants first. Then seek God's will for your life. Once we stop doubting God and start trusting Him, then life will be amazing.

His name will be Glorified soon and praying you have already accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you haven't, I will leave scriptures for you to read and meditate on that and it will help you understand why Jesus died on cross for you and what it means when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Romans 3:23...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
....meaning no one was perfect but Jesus.....we are human and we ALL make mistakes.....
Romans 6:23....for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord...this means when Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God in the garden of Eden, sin entered and the connection to go to heaven was severed. That is why God sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so we can live eternally with God in Heaven.....
John 3:16....for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life...Jesus loved you so much He sacrificed His life so you can be with Him and God forever....
Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace you have been saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast....meaning you could be the nicest person on earth who does alot of good for everyone but that doesn't save you, it is by God's grace and you believing by faith that Jesus died on the cross for your sins that saves you not what you do....
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.....so if you genuinely believe in your heart Jesus died on the cross for your sins, then say this prayer out loud.
Dear God, I know that I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I want to turn away from my sinful life to the life You have planned for me. Please forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me of my past, make me new. I know Your Son, Jesus Christ died for me. I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead . At this very moment, I accept, confess, and proclaim Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior....to live in my heart from this day forward. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness....even though Jesus took all your sins on the cross, He wants us to stay humble and remind ourselves why we need Him as Lord and Savior. So when you do sin-make a mistake- go before God and ask for forgiveness and He is faithful to forgive.

What I appreciate about your preaching is that you don’t push your personal beliefs about individual sin, but you preach and teach about god and his love. It’s like you’re giving up yourself to let god speak to us. I find that beautiful and increíble. Because of course you’d want to tell people about what you think is best that will get people to heaven, but only god can help us find salvation and get us to heaven. But I just wanted to say that. Even as a trans person, I love god. He’s blessed me in so many ways and I love him so much. And I know he loves me. 😊
