I'm a bit surprised that you didn't know that. Golem factory is always guarded by diamond and golden golems, making it different from other 3rd level dwelling
Here's a fun H3 hint which some players might not know. As one example, the "Tower" units are native to ice terrain. If your hero's entire army is comprised solely of those units, they'll traverse it as though it were grass. No pathfinding is required. The "Fortress" troops align with swamp terrain, and "Inferno" aligns with gee-I-wonder-what. 😂Additionally, this is why you sometimes see an *additional* speed bonus applied to troops during some battles; grass & dirt is speedy for elves & archers (if you follow me). 💪😎✌️ Sometimes, if you force an enemy hero to approach you on "your" terrain, that can mean the difference between minor or massive losses. This is especially helpful when using heroes who specialize in a troop type. For example, Piquedram & gargs! Fight on ice and do so with a necklace of swiftness, and Pique's Ob Gargs move faster than TITANS (12). Seriously, try it out. Friggin' WILDLY powerful. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
As a somewhat of a noob, I was surprised to think that you can take it on with those creeps. 1 second later I realized my intuition was correct about the golen factory. I'm learning!
Started watching your vids recently and completely reinvigorated my love of HOMM3. Playing HD+ now and realizing how bad I was as a kid. Gonna be commenting for the algo, thanks for the content.
You're the first heroes 3 player thst doesn't use over-powered, cheezy strategies. Because of that, I find your content relatable, and I enjoy watching your play style. Thank you for your content
@@Norovo lol, no worries. Old joke but gold. Thanks for putting your stuff out there, given me some nice lockdown chill so thanks for that. Rewatched the Galthran 2 spooki series recently. Cheers buddy.
A trading post on your doorstep is amazing, especially guarded by Trogs, never under value that even on impossible difficulty [Just kept seeing you using your market place for such a bad rate and I was like NOOOO! lol] ^_^. You could keep a hero in your starting town with the loins of the legion, use for trading post and help chain the army to your heroes out in the field. You could make a power stack of Golems with the external dwelling and Loins too but I can see that as an undesirable one for offense XD [amazing for defense though if anyone eventually attacks your base! ;) Grand elves fantastic one for the Loins! ] Kudos for sticking with it after the Golem factory :) if you had Obsidian Gargoyles perhaps kiting would of been possible and then the gremlins might of been able to defeat them? [Perhaps ammo cart dependent though... due to the 8 shots...] Another useful strategy, is to use an army of just fast units to defeat an army of ranged units e.g. just only have a power stack of obsidian gargoyles then a load of ones, wait [could squeeze in a stone skin on the power stack as well to help with loses], then double turn over to the wood elves to prevent gremlins from "bleeding". I am enjoying watching you play, you are a more human player and encountering the same challenges I would face ^_^ Well done on the Gold mine capture, Tower is a gold hungry. Hope these strategies/advise helps for future games [if you haven't already discovered/tested them yourself], looking forward to next videos ;) Grand elves FTW! [You forgot to pick up your sulfur dune as well lol no worries its sometimes hard to tell being Tan, since it is closest to being Grey XD]
I like it when you have a rough time of it at the start. It always means that you'll become *all-powerful* before the end of the series! ⚡🌟⚡ Tha5 thing with the Golem Factory was pretty funny, too. The description _said_ it was guarded by Gold Golems, but you just kinda glanced over that part. Heh heh.

This is part of the HoMM3 hd mod. Adds modern resolutions and tons of conviniences like that. Highly recommended stuff, but don't mistake it with official hd edition, which is just crap.
@@backflipmann Ya man, getting Piquedayyum to start sucks because you don't get any gremlins that you can upgrade to shooters, and that's a big thing for the early game with Tower.
You need to have Heroes 3 Complete Edition with the HD mod, then you need to hover your cursor over the unit with Shift held (I think Ctrl also works).
Shift and cntr does different stuff. Like, one is showing acrual mivoment of a unit, the other one takea into account units that are blocking you and the potential move if the block is killed or just moved :)
