I’m am so glad Airfix produced a 1/48 Gannet as I’ve always wanted a 1/48 kit of this great aircraft.Airfix are coming on so well of recent years.Really looking forward to their new Bristol Bulldog this year.

Thank you for your comment much appreciated. I try to keep reviews short because my time is precious and so is yours. I can’t always spare 30 minutes for a review and I think that others would like quick ones as well. The FG is definitely unique and actually quite big when you stand next to it. Airfix are getting better but I still think they are lacking. For instance their kits are typically more expensive than Eduard and their kits are often better quality more accurate and come with Photo etch as an option and paint masks. It’s horses for courses with kit manufacturers. I am looking forward to their Liberator myself 👍 Take it easy please sub if you want to- Jim
