I really enjoyed watching this build video..I agree with you how modeling get us to know the subject more and is great for mental health..The camera work and editing give the effect of being there watching the build.. The build itself was great from what looks like an excellent kit and I like the balsa additions..The paint and weathering too it off perfectly..Great work Jim.!

I almost fell out of my seat when I saw how much St. George's model wanted for that kit. Maybe one of the big kit makers will wake up and start making more WWI cannon and vehicles.

Well i couldnt answer your question this time around. I have no experience with the Blackhawk helicopter plus ive never built a kit of one either. I have flown in a great many different types of helicopters including CH53, CH47 & 46, variouse UH1 hueys, a bunch of foreign manufacturers helicopters. This all started during my service in the USMC 1977-1973, then as a civilian i traveled all over central & south america, southeast asia, southwest pacific, western & south africa and Antarctica. My most memorable helicopter ride was in a Cal-Fire AH-1 as an observer, that was a Hoot. Anyway...... Great preview video, love your videos.

Hello Jim, a great way to wrap up a weekend is to watch my favorite modeling video. I always have to make an entry in my wish list note book which will need to be changed soon. I'm always amazed at the depth of knowledge you can find on new product news. I need to update the time line on the B-17 waist gunner cutaway, as I recall it was scheduled for a release date in November. That one is bound to go fast.. I built that plane model back in 1970-2

I bought the Lukgraph Oeffag D.III and to be honoust: it's a stinker. Massive amounts of print wobble, broken parts that take forever to be replaced, aelerons that don't fit to the wings etc etc. NOT worth the money at all.

I'm very much interested in that HMT Olympic in 1/200 scale it looks like it'll be a fun build. Greetings from southern Ontario Canada.

Nice highlights on the lesser-known companies. The Moebius 2001 kits BTW are all new molds. Aurora did the Moon Bus and Orion Clipper way back when, but the Moebius kits are new molds. The EVA Pod, Discovery and Space Station have never been done in injected plastic before.

Some interesting models coming onto the market. I don't normally build military or ship models, but these ship models really captured my attention. I'm happy to see a modern hovercraft model, and I saw the RFA Tidespring on a tour of Portsmouth Harbour when I was a child, and I actually toured the RFA Mounts Bay about six years ago (boarding it in the middle of the sea via a rope ladder, if you please!)

Skills and time 🤣 I love it' I don't have the skills or time to build all my kits. I'll die before i get through my stash.

Gotta admit: seeing the Fine Mold's Zero with a 2-PART CANOPY made my heart sing with joy! No more F****ING masking! Hooray. The single-piece tail looks great too. Likewise the complicated interior.
