The old-fashioned story theme of mother-in-law versus daughter-in-law, malice exchanges between the father and the eldest son-in-law, sisters-in-law who refuse to go to their in-laws place even after marriage. The character of the brother who is loving and caring towards his parents and wife are some of the back stories which form the crux of the story for this TV serial. Ananda Bhavan was aired at 9 PM on all weekdays on Sun TV. The cast of Anand Bhavan included Chetan, Delhi Kumar, Satchu, Vanaja, Anand and many more.
