I wasn’t able to knit this years SSAL because life has been a bit lifey lately but it has been a wild ride watching these reveal videos! You turned making a sock on its head for sure!!! I will try to knit the socks later on this year.
I loved last year when you surprised us with a mkal for socks and I have enjoyed this year’s as well!❤ I would love for the sock mkal to become a tradition similar to your shawl mkals. My first shawl was the shawlography and I did the twist and turns(with the extension) and the Gradient (where I did the mohair challenge)
I have my colors picked out and my mohair for the dynamo go go!
October 3rd can’t come fast enough! Lol 😂

I had to redo this using stitch markers on the selvage edges to make sure that I was even. I somehow ended up 3 stitches further along on one side so it was decidedly diagonal by the halfway point without those markers!

Oh, my Aye! I had a sock experimentation in doing this technique on a Halloween 🎃👻 Color theme! Still have one frogged the other, lol

This is my first knit along and I am enjoying seeing my sock come together! Can you explain why the number of stitches is meant to have increased by 2 by the end of knitting the sole fabric and joining to the upper foot? Should have 30 at the beginning but the pattern states 32 before starting the toe section for Size 2. Thanks.

My socks ended up being too long before the toe, I think my best bet is to do a very shortened toe, probably decreasing every round for the whole thing. Just adding this here, in case anyone else has the same issue, since it’s not addressed in the video or pattern!
