What I wish more people would elaborate on is, what types of addresses are acceptable for those that are also interested in building business credit. There seems to be conflicting information about whether ALL virtual addresses will work for people seeking tier 2 & 3 levels of credit. I am personally stuck right now because I want to complete this process correctly the first time while forming my LLC and there isn’t enough accurate and detailed info. on the matter. Thank you.
Omg I’m experiencing this same thing. I have at home business yet credit lenders will not accept virtual address. DnB will not accept virtual not PO Boxes etc. all of the information is conflicting, so I’m sticking with what has worth thus far and that home address for business address. Good luck!

I do not believe that’s true…but maybe your local office has some additional options. I’ve never heard or experienced that. Let me know if you find out differently.
This is true. You can do that, however creditors do know when an address is a po box versus an actual office address and I'm not sure if this would affect one getting business credit.

I use a UPS Office Store mailbox because it has a "physical street" address vs P.O. Box. In addition, credit cards companies, banks, IRS, etc. can't be mailed to PO a Box. Currently my business does not require me a physical location. I only got it to separate my business from personal. Lastly, the cost was minimal and the location is super close to my home. And there are perks.

You don’t ever need to change your ein to update information. It’s associated with your business so if you need to change anything , it won’t affect your ein number
My ein is set up with my home address too bc I made that mistake when applying for my llc🤦🏾♀️ I plan on finding a virtual address so I can get approved for loans in the future.. did you find a good one ?

Hey Patricia- Here are the details in a nutshell- A registered agent is an individual or entity that has been appointed by an LLC or Corporation to receive service of process, government correspondence, and compliance documents on behalf of the business. You can choose anyone- even yourself- as long as the person being elected meets the following registered agent requirements: is 18 years or older...has a physical address in the state where the business is formed...is available (in person) during normal business hours. So a virtual address is beneficial if you are going to be your own agent and don't want to use a home address since the address of the agent has t be a physical address. I hope this helps and the video answered any other questions you have.

I was confused because my package included the register agent and when I called the company he recommended going to UPS and getting a business mailbox... This virtual address thing is confusing. They we need a virtual office not a virtual address. You said anytime mailbox is good for business credit but the guy at chase Bank told me I can't use anytime mailbox. He said my business account will close in couple days after signing up if I use anytime mailbox address. He was Jewish I want to know was he right or was he giving me misinformation??? I saw another video that said you must make sure the address you use is zoned for business.

Problem is opening biz bank accts or government bidding etc they don’t accept virtual & my LLC dox have to match! I gotta change my LLC address but there’s no opt but my home! HELP ME please! I’ve looked & looked for an option without luck.
