I have just one question: why you made dubbing loop and cut it? May be I understand why you made that after cutting wast pieces after you snip off by blade. But why you did others?
To answer your question, that was not a dubbing loop. I was switching threads from the wide (Uni-Nylon 70 Deneir) to the fine (Uni-Thread 17/0 Trico). The wider thread is used to build up the body into a smooth taper and the fine is used to secure the delicate portions of the fly to keep the bulk down to a minimum.
Actually, this is my first full dressed salmonfly on my channel, the Black Peril comes close. I'm planning to record a Jock Scott soon, it's a lot of work . Not only tying, but recording and editing and working on an awkward angle so you don't get in the way.
@@JPCustomFlies okay, I see. Previously you dubbing your videos and we’re able to understand each step. But this time you mixed your video with music and I couldn’t catch the details. Anyway, it was a very good job. Thanks again✌️

@@TheCanary24 I'm adding subtitles to that fly to make it easier to follow along. Going forward all the classic salmon flies will have subtitles.
