Hey! Do you know how to disable the program mode? I recently had this thermostat serviced and now it always wants to run a program. My only other option is permanent hold. It was never like this before. Any thoughts?

How do I cancel the 'hold' function? When I change the temp, it says "Cancel Hold" where the "temp" option is on the main screen. How do I get rid of that?

Normally A/C tech will like to install you one of these Thermostats because they are causing small issues with running your A/C system. Then you will call the tech and he will charge you a few hundreds or a few thousands if you live in Manhattan... for a problem that does not exist. I had one of these Climate Master thermostat for years and was often locking up the system and asking to be reset. I have replaced it with a Nest Thermostat and never looked back.
Magically all the technical issues disappeared and the A/C works efficiently without need to be reset. Not Mentioning that the Nest or any other new Smart Thermostat are years ahead of this piece of jun\k.
The guy here( I feel sorry) is a pain to watch, just to go all these steps to make settings that on a smart thermostat you can do from your phone....
My thermostat in my apartment will not go above 75 degrees when putting the heat up how do you change that

Mine had that problem as well. When the thermostat went red it wouldn't reset. I had to call and get it serviced. Mine also has done that but the screen was blue. I flipped the breaker off for about 5 minutes and it worked after that. These systems are very finicky and glitch a lot.
Are there batteries in these thermostats?

What does that mean?
I have the same climate master thermostat but mine does not do the save screen when I set it ? I set mine to 69 on cool but it goes up to 78 on cool and that makes it too hot please help me out here
