As a long time pianist (30+ years) I just wanted to let you know how much i appreciated the nose wiggles and subtle scratch. Because If I've learned one thing, it's that your nose will NEVER itch at a convenient time whilst playing the piano. This is an amazing arrangement, and I for one am very please to have come across it. Much Respect, and admiration.
At this point, if I can elegantly get in a nose scratch its just part of the performance haha! And yes, when I’m practicing my face is fine and the moment I hit record-allergies! Cat hair! My own hair! Haha thank you for leaving a comment that made me smile :)

it's hard to be THAT specific about black/white keys haha. I think it's more the white keys are edgier and yeah can be happier in that sense (E and B feel up and light) but the flats/sharps soften the keys so they can be prettier but not necessarily sad. Anyway LOL I'm glad all the flat keys didn't make you sad :)

I used to try so hard to finish piano covers within 24 hours (even 12 hours) of the original but when I discovered Porter/Madeon I stopped doing that, because their songs deserve time and care 💙(not to say I didn't try... 😭)

The more i listen to Look at the Sky the more I feel like it should be an anime op. This cover just solidifies that.

It depends on the key you’re in. Notes only make a “happy” or “sad” sound relative to each other but not if you just play them singularly.

I believe I read that Something Comforting was your intro to EDM last year. That's awesome! I'm so grateful to Porter for introducing you to the scene so that I am able to experience your beautiful covers/mashups/jazzified versions of my favorite songs. Being introduced to Porter's music (starting with SoCo yes 💙) was how I discovered my brain is pretty decent at mixing/mashing up songs, AND I surprisingly really connect to EDM! I didn't really have friends who listened to EDM so it took this long for me to find it but now I feel like I'm home, and have been meeting the nicest people from the community such as yourself this past year. It's been so awesome 💙
