I'm brand new to 3D printing and just bought the Elegoo Mars on your recommendation. Why do you have to angle your items to be SLA printed vs. Just placing them flat (perpendicular) on the build plate ? Thanks for your great videos.
Hey there! Printing at an angle helps the print layer lines. To make them less visible. I also try to angle to minimize the numbers of supports on the front of the object that I’m printing
I've been seeing a few reviews pop up in the last few days of the Longer orange SLA printer, and I was kinda wondering if you could do a comparison, since they're at about the same price point

here is an interesting idea. Hey. Thanks for the great review. I was able to get a elgoo Mars before they were all sold out. You showed how to use chitubix to add support and save as STL. What would happen if you took that STL file and tried to print it on a ender 3 with the support you would use for a resin printer? I'm trying one tonight.

Are you part of the ender 3 Facebook group? It's a great printer, but you can get unlucky with a warped bed and some hot end issues... Put in too much damn work (fortunately I learned a lot).

Any chance you could check the LED layout? I've seen it quoted as a 40w light source but no details on the number and/or arrangement of the LEDs.
How strong is a resin print compared to pla? Are they quite brittle?

My elegoo mars has bubbles and burnt stuff under glass since first print, so doesn't print on that side, unfortunately

Pretty sure it's the huge price drop. Anycubic Photon was king in that price range for the longest time.
