"It's worse than that" - James May (legend)
ItsJoeyLad p
He is such a legend that he is a ledgend!
You think 😂 lol
It's dead Jim!
Is that bad for my points?
I hate to admit it but I think James won that race. His cake was almost save-able till he started tinkering with it.
Have to agree. Captain Slow wins.
He wins cause he got a Scania anyway. Jeremy once said that there is two types of lorry drivers: Those who own a Scania and those who want to own a Scania.
MarkEdwardRom Jeremy wins, no argument
@@frankiebrunson8199 He was in fire that round!
Ba'dum, tss
You've never actually driven one then :D
"i know, it's bad'... "oh it's worse than that."
"Is that bad for my points?"
"Yea... More to the point where is it?"
"I don't know."
😂😂😂
I like how James May is the only one wearing a seatbelt
Yes
666 likes Lol
I think its something to do with the Renualt and the ERF don't actually have seatbealts. No idea why the don't but I think it has something to do with when they were built and that the rules and regulations at the time meant that they didn't need seatbelts.
Lol I noticed that too
@@Matt-di6nb you can see where Jeremy's female end is
it does understeer this lorry
wild bill i died laughing at that part😂
I am pretty sure that was James's revenge for the Jeremy doing that too him.

Bit excessive.
Does it😂

4:13 Hammonds "I dont know" always cracks me up. You can tell he genuinely had no idea that he'd lost the car
Except as the whole thing's staged and scripted, he did.
@@dontsqueezethecheese Not Everything is staged and scripted. A lot of things are. And a lot of things just happen naturally. It was probably scripted that he would lose the car, but they probably just had him stop so someone could go loosen/open the hatch and then told him to keep driving. He almost certainly realized it fell out at some point and then was pretending that he didn't know, but when asked where it was he genuinely did not know which is why he had a genuine reaction.
@@dontsqueezethecheese A lot of things are scripted, a lot of others aren’t
4:17 *
Lol of course he did. It's scripted to the point of being not funny
I'm a trucker and that's about the funniest thing I've ever seen.
+Paul TheSkeptic Watched it again. Yep, still the funniest damn thing I've ever seen.
+Paul TheSkeptic How do you drive these monsters??
Jon Samuel Well, you have to learn how in school. It was very intimidating the first time I did it but it's been over a decade now and one gets used to it. Actually, I feel safer in my truck than I do in a four wheeler.
+Paul TheSkeptic It is very funny, i have been driving for 42 years.
Douglas McCarty An old timer eh? My trainer had been driving for about that long. He was a really cool old codger. Great guy, so much knowledge.
I literally lost it with hammond when he lost the car
i remember crying with laughter and couldnt breathe at all
I love these guys
just a shame it's staged, you can see 2 people standing inside the trailer when he loses the car
Michael Fase still funny
and i didnt see the 2 people
Yeah sad theyre gone noe
I thought I was the only one who noticed this
This guy is ohsome.. Always make my day with smile when i watch this show
I could feel the vengeance in 2:25 for every single time Clarkson has clipped May in their respective vehicles over the years.
Did you miss the color in mays hair? This musta been season 1
@@yzrippin Judging by how James May is present, that's definitely not Series 1
@@yzrippin you're way off. This is series 12 episode 1.

Daniel Rodriguez Were you in the car at the time?
We're you the one who stole it??
did the front fell off?
Daniel Rodriguez RIP 🙏🙏
1:51 Hammond drifting an eighteen wheeler is epic. I literally laugh out loud watching this.
Lol
I crack up every single time! "...Bit of a hill.. Carry some s-WHOAA WHOAA WHOAA!!!"
that's not really drifting a semi, its more of "dragging your arse around a curve with your trailer brakes on"
Hammond seems to always be driving about 4 times as fast as he should be driving. He was absolutely hauling ass down that hill with all that weight ahahaha
The song and this part 1:51 like movie to down over the hell then action
Can we just take a minute to realize how good old TG editing was. The jump shot at 2:28 will forever be a favorite moment of mine.
“Oh, that is actually quite bad now”
Vast amounts of thick black smoke billowing from the truck😂😂😂😂 damn this show was good.
The fire crew wasnt quite prepared for that one ... because they basically had a garden hose.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They were expecting a fire, but not THAT involved.
0:43 - The best start to a race in history.
I see Jeremy got in gear but tried to set off with handbrake on
You know it's good when they have to drop the flag TWICE to start the race 😅
I was laughing so hard when James looked at Richard's trailer and found nothing.
And the way their voices echo in the car-less, empty payload.
State of cargo at the end:
James: Very very damaged
Richard: Missing
Jeremy: Missing, replaced with a massive fire
Wenn we haul an empty trailer we tent to say we haul hot air or sailboat fuel
@@jeroenknot6796 Maybe it is "Perry-Air" (cf. Spaceballs)?

Your on fire. Jeremy: you got the next challenge lads. Lol
My on fire?
"I absolutely hope James May wakes up in the morning and 10,000 insects are in his underpants..."
Hahahahahahaha
I drove trucks in Texas. When it broke down one night I pulled over and crawled underneath without checking first. I wound up with 10,000 insects in my ants all right-FIRE ANTS! I was spotted by a Kaufman County Sheriff running down the shoulder stripping my clothes off and swearing a blue streak. After he had a good laugh he sprayed me down with burn medication
@@drcovell this comment has made my day LMAO 🤣
I like how Jeremy said so, and he like bumped into James three times more.
The best line in the whole video 😂So random en yet so genuinely ment by Clarkson!
Lol when the car falls out and Richard looks to his mirrors and goes yeah
yeah he definitely saw it
I'm pretty sure they cut out bits to add effect.
It might be funnyer if they had no idea what kind of cargo they had in the back. For me atleast.
@@4Everlast yeah
Everything for the show :D
euro truck simulator irl
+Hankrich This is better than Euro Truck. Anything is.

Even American truck simulator ?
It's more like King of the Road... :P
Yeah online though 😂
This video sums up EU2 xD
"Then Jeremy arrived" *Truck appears with a massive fire at the back* 4:20 lmao
This pretty much sums up every Top Gear challenge
May: *Nearly rips Jeremy's cab off* "It does under steer this lorrie."
Im 4 years late hope you exist still and also have learned that it is spelled lorry
Bryson Rose lol
@@b.m.r221 Question: Why is it named lorry? Why such a pussy name for a truck?
@Bilal Khalid No. A truck can't be SUV. A truck is pick up truck. Dodge RAM, Chevy avalanche and so on. Those are PICK UP trucks. We only say it short for a pickup truck, a truck. Still a pussy name for a truck.
@Bilal Khalid yeah in America we call 40 ft to 53' trailers semi's or 18 wheeler, and the engined part is a tractor. The smaller trailers and cab connected cargo vehicles might just be called truck or box truck, cargo truck/van. So you may not confuse large personal vehicles with commercial shipping, you don't seem to differentiate between the size of the lorries.
"Just squashing the finishing line", classic.
2:40 Here we witness the semi truck giving birth to a beautiful infant car. Unfortunately, it must leave its young one behind, as is the law of nature.
I read that in David Attenborough voice.
I did in my UK-ish narrator voice.
1:56 I lost it when Hammond started panicking XD
Hammond accidentally drifting his truck is my favorite moment.
"Oh its worse than that"
Is that bad for my points?
"....... Yeah!"
Mr Potential lol
More to the point, where is it?
JCs truck looks pretty badass I must say the way it's all blacked out. I wouldn't mind having it to occasionally drive around in.
only thing you'd have to do is change the height of the tint on the front windshield
Parallel parking would be a nightmare
03:13
in exactly just over 3 minutes
- James May
It’s just hilarious how casually Jeremy pulled up to the finish with his trailer just straight up on fire
Died laughing, as a truck driver I can empathize,
shifting all over again! These guys are the best!!

"Then Jeremy arrived"
Pulls up with burning trailer 😂😂😂
4:00 "well, it's worse than that"
Jeremy just arriving on fire and totally unaware: "Have we got the next challenge lads?"
Just great
does understeer this lorry.. HAHAHA
2:06 Hammond discovers adrenalin
There will never be again such a great show on earth.
4:15 I absolutely got hiccup from laughing. Where is it?
3:19 Now let’s look at mi cake
Seconds later...
James: Oooooof 😂
0:12 our lorry (DAF XF 510) has a button that basically uses the clutch as a parking brake. When it hits a certain amount of stress (because you press the throttle) it releases and you just take off without rolling backward down the hill.
mind these are like 90's early 2000 lorries. no fancy tech and you most likely have to double clutch
@@nxthxntbx08 yesyes ik that, just saying that technology has evolved and its now become much easier to take off on hills.
Cars now have brake hold features.
At 1:44 that Magnum looks glorious!
They cant tell me this wasnt one of the greatest races they have ever had regarding their personal level of fun and memorability
2:42. Fun physics, the car rolls backwards out of the truck but briefly continues rolling up the hill before gravity does it's thing.
If it had been more than one lap, dropping the car would've been good tactic by Hamsters part. Also, that's the most dry cake I've ever seen.
Are we allowed to call him Hamster? I thought only Clarkson was allowed to.
Probably a frozen cake given how solid it is
Stale.
Styrofoam actually, you can hear the telltale sound it makes when James is trying to "correct" it.
"I didn't want to do what I just did" 😂 completely encompasses being a truck driver
I lost it when James took out Jeremy
"It does understeer, this lorry."
Yeah I remember laughing out loud
2:54 basically the reason all the Cars movies exist
James's irate "Try using the handbrake like you would in, oh I dunno, A CAR." always gets me
“How can we be this rubbish”
Gets me everytime😂
4:10 Cars (2006)
3:02 - does anyone else laugh trying to imagine someone wearing pants large enough to hold ten thousand insects? A cubic meter? No idea.
4:26 Clarkson is Ghost Rider
But with truck
I love how James wasn't really mad that Jeremy rolled backwards into him. Just disappointed.
"Does understeer this Lory"😂
Even now that was still one of the funniest episodes and seeing them struggle with the gearboxes. I feel pretty good about my 20 years of driving road ranger gearboxes now 😂😂
May: Where is It?
Hammond: Don't know 😆
Its really crazy. Hammond did not recognize when his car left him. Ha ha haaa. Amazing...
"Is that bad for my points?"
"...yeah?"
I work at that proving ground, and i would just like to state how immensly miffed track control was after witnessing this carnage take place.
Isn't that pretty much standard every where after these three finish their shenanigans?
"Just squashing the finish line" 🤣🤣🤣
4:46 “that’s on fire”
"YOU-"
"Does understeer, this lorry."
When the dentist tells you: " Open wide and say..." lol. 3:25
The truck episodes made me laugh so much, they've got to be some of the funniest moments I've ever seen from this show.
2:45 This Reminds me to a famous british movie where 3 Minis were trying to stole some gold Called: "French Work"...? Or something like that 😉😁👏👏👌👌
The Italian Job, great film that!
Omg, this is the funniest thing I have ever seen! lolol They always set themselves up for disaster.
"Oh that is actually quite bad now"
Like, I know it's scripted and it was supposed to end up on fire, but that reaction feels genuine. Like he knew it was going to be on fire, but not this much. It did basically reach the lorry itself.
0:03 remind me of this scary video with a jumpscare.
There's so much chaotic energy coming from Jeremy's truck as it arrives. The cherry on top is him asking for the next challenge as if nothing was happening.
These 3 were always such a joy to watch!
a whole car can just dissapear lol :P
It was stolen!....:)
When I started watching top gear I loved jeremy but 2 years that is now I find James amazingly hilarious
Never noticed this before, but at 2:50 you can see the lorry pull off of the road after dropping its "precious cargo".
Haha, I haven't laughed that hard in awhile, seeing Jeremy pulling up with his trailer on fire was hilarious.
Jeremy: "I hope James May wakes up with 10,000 insects in his underpants"
That line is so funny.........
“In exactly just over 3 minutes” lol
Hey BBC, you MUST upload Clarkson driving into that brick wall in his truck! Simply the funniest moment in the history of the show!
This is hilarious. While it probably wasn't staged, I think it's pretty clear Hammond knew he'd lost his cargo immediately after it happened, but all in all it was a hilarious episode.
I love the casualty of these three gentlemen. It's like their attitude is like "the lorry is on fire nothin' special it's not the frist time we have crashed a motor vehicle and set it on fire" that just cracks me up hahahaha
*James sideswipes Jeremy*
James: It does understeer this lorry"
dead
*May sideswipes Clarkson*
Clarkson: YOU -
May: does understeer, this lorry ^-^
And this is one of the... many reasons I adore TopGear!
Imagen the producers thinking:
"I've had a good life. If I die watching these three driving trucks; totally worth it."
This has to be the funniest video I have seen on the internet!
Honestly, scripted or unscripted I really don’t care, these guys were the peak of entertainment!
They really would need those seatbelts the way they are driving xD
4:28
"How can we be this rubbish"
*Semi-trailer on fire in the background*
I'm a truck driver and watching these three was hysterical!
”Thats quite bad now”
”Its on fire”
”Yeah”
0:30 Thats the look I have on my face when I go to work....
I could watch these guys all day - they make me belly laugh but James has to be my favourite by far. 🤣
"Try using the handbrake like you would in, oh I dont know... a car!" James may can always pull off a one liner like that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2:58 captain clumsy 😂😂😂
“I absolutely hope James wakes up in the morning and ten thousand insects are in his underpants.”
