Good morning, Maddie You had a great shelling day. Wow, there are so many things and shells to like. The cowries love the orange drupe shells, dove shell, dog whelke, purple barnacle, trumpets, love the mini sand dollars. The sea hairs we very big and very interesting. Also the rosy frog whelke that was alive was very nice as well. The flat moon snail and the chestnut banneded moon and the limpit. Thank you so very much for a great shelling day. Hope you have a great day, Maddie.
G'day Toni 👋🏻💖 Hehe, I always have great days when I'm out shelling 🤣 but yes indeed, the shells were amazing today 🐚 I think that was a record for Orange Drupe shell finds today 🤩 and gosh, I just love the minis on the wracklines... I have a few amazing microshelling videos coming up on the weekend for you to look forward to 😉 but gosh, I haven't seen marine life like those giant sea hares again, or the live Rosy Frog Shell...I looked for it again, but it was gone from there. I'm so pleased that you loved that Chestnut Moon Snail, it was just a super shell!! As always Toni, thank you so much for watching 🥰
Oh those drupes are lovely, prickly spotted and oranges, and I just really like the spotty dottiness of the tortoise dove shell. Very cool to see the live rosy frog whelk. "Grace of a penguin" cracked me up. 😂
G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 I just love the Drupe shells! Okay, maybe I love Cowries more, but these are still incredibly cool 😎 I'm glad you liked them, and the little Microshells too, I will have to do a microshelling episode soon! Hehe, I really do feel like I need to walk like a penguin 🐧 to avoid slipping! Nature has it all worked out 🐧🐧🐧 Thanks for watching 🥰
Hey Maddie😃Yet again a fun adventure with my favorite penguin 😂😂😂😂. I love the orange drupe shells 🐚. And the sweet banded chestnut. You were very brave today to get in the water as much as you did.
G'day Melisa 👋🏻💖 Hehehe 🐧🐧🐧 I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed the adventure, as well as those lovely Orange Drupes 🤩 The Chestnut Banded Sand Snail was just a beauty too! The was was pretty calm on this day, but you still gotta be mindful. The waves have really grown wild this week after a bit of rain though, so I've been happy to stick to the microshelling 🐚 but more about that this weekend! Thank you so much for coming along with me again today 🥰
Speaking of Mr. Sheller, when will we get to see his collection? Beautiful banded chestnut snail. 🐌🐌🐌 My favorites today are the orange drupes and the Wentletraps! 😱 I bet that water was cold! Be careful out there. Another fab video Maddie! Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Haha, I don't know, whenever we can find a time? Wayne still seems open to the idea of showing off his collection at his home, so I guess it's still on the table 😁 Again, very nice of him! Oh wow, the favourites were the Orange Drupes and Wentletraps!! Wow, and they were just little Wentletraps this time too 🤩🐚 wish me luck in finding a big one to show you! The water was a bit chilly, but maybe I was being a bit delicate that day; another lady there said it felt refreshing 🤣 in my defense, my arms were also wet from my shirt, and I'd been in the water for longer, and deeper in 🌊 but it's going to get cooler in the next few months 😲 Thank you so much Pam, I'll so my best to be careful. I'm going out there again soon, and it's been raining until now; the rocks will be extra slippery 😆 I need all the luck you're sending! Thank you so much for coming along on another adventure 🥰
Hi Maddie, the purple barnacle looks special, I also like the Wandering Cowrie and the orange scallop. Shelling is very good fun, thank you for sharing.
G'day Florence 👋🏻💖 The little barnacle is so cute; it's the smallest one I've ever seen or collected! Wow, the worn away Wandering Cowrie is really lovely with that blue colour, isn't it? Finally, I'm so pleased that the cool orange scallop is getting so love too 🤩 Thank you so, so much for coming along with me today 🥰
Hi Maddie, a humongous Chungas with a chad! 😂😂😂😂 I think they were making the most of the tide pool together before the tide gave them sea freedom again. My favourites were the drupes and the cowries that were a blue colour. As always I enjoyed your display at the end. Always a pleasure to go along with you. 🥰xxx🐌🐌🐚🪸
G'day Alison 👋🏻💖 Hahaha I'm glad that you liked their new names 🤣 yeah, it seems these two came alive in the tide pools to spend some time together in the sunshine. The water is a little cooler lately, so they probably enjoyed the midday warmth 😄 Oh wow, thank you, I'm thrilled that you liked the display at the end; I always try to put together something interesting 🤩 though some times are harder than others! I'm also trilled that you liked the Drupes and blue cowrie 🐌❤️ Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Hi Maddie Once again you found some very nice Cowries. The Drupe shells were pretty neat as where the Nerites. But the big Keyhole Limpit was a cracker. As usual thanks for sharing your journey again with us.
G'day Aussie Dirt Digger 👋🏻💖 Oh my gosh, you must have been up late to catch this one so quickly 😮 I digress 😆 The cowries have been absolutely lovely with the cooler weather lately; I think/hope to have a bunch more great finds in the coming months. Hehe, oh yes, I should get back to showing more Nerites now that the wracklines and shell piles are loading up a little more...hopefully the rain hasn't washed them away 🌧️ I'll see if I can find an extra Limpet to pick up for you next time 🏖️😉 Thank you for coming along with me once again 🥰
G'day Donna 👋🏻💖 good morning 🌞 oh my goodness, thank you for starting off the day with a sweet and swirly shelling adventure 🐌🐚❤️ I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it! I love taking you along on them, so yes, the videos will keep coming 😉 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day Bearseyeview 👋🏻💖 Aww gosh, I'm glad that I could make your day 🐚❤️ There was a lot of fun to be had on a day like this one! I think three Orange Drupes in one day might be a record for me as well! As always, thank you so much for joining me today 🥰
G'day Mary 👋🏻💖 Heheh, lot of fun today, I always enjoy seeing those Orange Drupes! But more than that, I want to see Chad and Big Chungus again 🐌😲😄 Thank you so much for coming along for all of the excitement today 🥰
G'day Reet 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, yes, the shiny Snakehead is lovely 🤩 there has been a whole heap of lovely snakeheads laying around lately; lucky me! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Morning Maddie, I have 3 favorites and they are #1 chestnut baned sand snail ,#2 is the spotted deer and #3 is the Incei's moon. You found some really good shells today. I hope you had a great time out there. Have a great and safe day shelling, love ❤❤ to you and ninja 😻😽🐈.
G'day Sheila 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, I love your favourite choices; it's interesting to me that only one of them lined up with mine 😲 the Chestnut Banded Sand Snail is actually lovely and in fantastic condition 🐌❤️ and of course, I will always pick up a nice Deer Cowrie and the cute Incei's Moon Snails when I see them too! I haven't found a really big purply blue one in a while, so wish me luck today 😉 I had a great time out there, and for that day, hmmm, it's been raining in real life this morning, so I'm just hoping that I don't slip!!! Thank you for the well wishes for my safety, I'll need them later this afternoon 😆 All the love back to you, Salt, Pepper, and their mum (no, I'm not typing her name again 💩) hahaha! Thanks once again 🥰
Maddie Hello, I love the Chestnut Banded Snail Shell never ate a Chestnut tho. I like the Orange Drupal too. The Sea Hares looked like they were taking a nap. Do your shoes dry out fast? We have water shoes but they would probably fall apart. You take care now. LOVE, TRUDY
G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 Hehe, I don't know that I've ever eaten a chestnut either!! It's good for describing this lovely warm brown colour though; everyone knows the colour, but not the taste 🤣 Oh gosh, those two massive sea hares were morning, but it was at a -snails- slugs pace! Very slow and ponderous! I regret not getting a closer view of their faces, but I didn't want to intrude around them too much 🤔 The shoes that I wear are also water shoes; they have water drainage holes in the bottoms, and use a mesh material in places, but are also padder and styles more like a runner. They were pricey ones, so even though they need to be replaced, I keep mending them instead 🤣(also, they didn't have my size in the store when I looked again) but as for your question, it takes about a day or two for them to dry out depending on the conditions that day. I have tried other water shoes (cheaper ones) but they fall apart so quickly 😞 these ones have lasted the best and were worth the extra money because I use them so much. I'll be sure to take care Trudy, you look after yourself and your lovely family as well 🥰
@@ShellingAdventures it made me think of Charlie’s Angels with drew Barrymore.. The Chad 😂😂 will make me laugh for days. Also!!! The Dollar store Wentle hahahaha
Hey Geraldine 👋🏻 I don't know what you mean... are you sure you commented on the right video? Earlier, I removed a comment from you about the WW2 or something. For this time, and every time: I only collect the empty shells... I may look at one with a live snail or crab in it, but I always put them back into the water 🌊 I never take anything home that isn't completely empty.
Hello again Geraldine. I looked at this video again, and there was one live snail and one hermit crab out of the few dozen shells I showed this time. I, personally, do not believe that to be "too many" as I really do try to focus on just the shells. This is the same in all of my videos; I might show none, or at most; a very small amount of live creatures as they are never a big focus. I might only show them because I think they are of particular interest at the time. None of these live creatures were collected and taken home... or maybe you just don't like seeing them for a few seconds when they do appear? To be honest, I'm having a lot of difficulty understanding what is wrong. I simply do not understand at all 🤔... I'm sorry that you feel like this is still too much. Thank you for watching up until this point.
