At the moment, Reeflex are proving to be the best value.
I randomly found your video when searing how to shoot jewellery. I'm totally new to all of this. Its really helpful! Would you recommend these lens for shooting close ups of jewellery? i have a new sony RX100 but i have no idea how to use this either haha!
It depends on what kind of close ups you want to shoot, but the macro lenses are great for external close up shots.
Just watched your reeflex pro camera app video and enjoyed it so much headed over to see this. reeflex has something going in products and software. With the mini being dropped by APPLE, and I love the small form factor, I’m trying to make it the smaller Pro iPhone that is just not available; RAW, tele ‘normal’ focal length, and just a good simple manual interface. Still not sure it’s the answer, and don’t want to jump before i’m 100% sure, but reeflex seems to be the answer.

Great review… I have a question about their ND filter adapter. Do u have an idea if 3rd party ND filters can be used?
I haven’t used their filters, but with their step up ring, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to use any 62mm filter.

Thanks, 90% of the b-roll is shot with smartphones. I always try to use smartphones whenever I can when I’m out and about.
All of the a-roll is shot in my studio using a Canon 90d and a TOKINA atx-i 11-16mm F2.8 lens.

Idk why but your shoots looks amazing, I am already using sandmarc lenses, are they same as reeflex? Should I buy reeflex instead?
Hey, I can’t comment on the Sandmarc lenses as I’ve not had the pleasure to use them yet, but ReeFlex lenses are awesome and on par with some other lenses that I’ve used so far.
Thanks for sharing! I have the 13 Pro Max and would probably jump on these lenses "If" they got rid of the terrible lens "green dot" flare of the iPhone. Hopefully, someday Apple will figure it out. As always, great job and thank you for your awesome content! 👍😊
Hopefully one day, I’m just so use to it now. I’ve pretty much accepted that it’s just a characteristic of iPhone photography. I’ll obviously stop saying that to myself if they ever fix it 😆

What would be the best flat lay lens for shoting high reflective watches?
I would say that the lens is not important, but more the angle and lighting position.
I'd like you to test it on iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max, since there is a RAW on it.
What lens do you recommend for e-a commerce photography of clothes??? ( I’m a fashion designer ) let’s say I’m taking photos of somebody in. A dress or hoodie / track suit , t shirt indoors or outdoors with different lightings
Hey, so I would recommend the telephoto lens if you’re taking photos with a model as the subject as you can get some compression in the background. 👊🏽

Looking at these lenses, I have 2 questions: 1. What’s the difference between these lenses, and something from Amazon. 2. If you would recommend just one lens from Reeflex, what would it be? (For me, I’m doing product photography and videos for my products. Maybe even some ad videos, etc.

Hey, nice to meet a fellow bearded brother. I also own a beard brand in the UK called Twisted Moustache 😜
So, which lens would I recommended. 🤔 If you’re taking photos of beard products, then I would recommend a tele lens.
The ReeFlex tele lenses will be a 1000% better than anything you will find on Amazon. The build quality will be better but more importantly, the glass will be a much higher grade.
I’ve used a lot of cheap lenses in the past and the quality of the photos are always really bad. 👊🏽

Did you have to pay import duty on these lenses when they arrived in the UK?
Hey, no I haven’t had to pay any import duty on any of the orders I have received. I’m not sure if I’ve just been lucky, but I have had at least 3 orders from ReeFlex delivered. 👊🏽
Does the wide and tele lens have filter threads?
Yea they do and ReeFlex now sell filters and adapters for their filters now 👊🏽
dont suppose you have the 14 pro max yet do you? and if so, is there any vignetting due to the increased sensor size?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the iPhone 14 pro max to test it with.
Which lens would you recommend for product photos?
It really depends on the products you’re shooting. If you’re shouting products with lots of fine detail, then go macro, if you want to blow out the background on your product shots, then go for a telephoto.
My advise, is get a few of them to cover your needs, macro, telephone and wide angle will cover all of the different product shots you will need 👊🏽

Hi, I own the iphone 14 Pro, I am an alreary equpided photographer and want to buy wide and telephoto lens for my iPhone. Image quality wise, would you recommand Reeflex or Moment? I am not a videographer. Thank you for your response!
Hey Susy, I would say that with the quality of the glass, ReeFlex is on par with Moments. If you want that extra bit of build quality and design and don’t mind paying extra, then go for Moments.
But, ReeFlex is still the best quality and all round value for money for me 😁

How do these lenses compare with moment iPhone lenses?
This is a great question. I haven’t used any of the moment lenses yet, but these lenses are between $50 to $60 cheaper across their range and the results are brilliant.
I can answer this question better once I’ve got my hands on some Moment lenses in a few weeks. 😁👊🏽
@@ShootSmartphone I wasn't really impressed with the moment lens, plus as you mentioned they are a bit cheaper. I ordered the 170 and the thread mount was really small and it came with a clip on for the phone. I prefer the 17mm screw mount of Reeflex
How about compared with sandmarc ?
I’ve used Sandmarc lenses and in terms of image quality, the ReeFlex lenses are just as good.
With Sandmarc, you’re going to pay a little extra for what I call ‘premium finishes’ with their aesthetics and they do have their lenses integrated with their range of ND filters.
How do these work with ND filters? Do I need an adaptor or can I use filters I already have? I didn't really see any on the website except for the wide angle and tele lenses.
It will be great when they start producing them , 4months & still waiting 😢
When they did arrive they sent me two of each but no invoice sent only ordered one of each , plus £45 import (UK ) when returning the 2 extra lenses they supplied me with an incorrect postal code , customer service not too good . If you don’t know where you live ! Good grief .!
Hey mate, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had some issues. I’ve had about 4 or 5 orders being delivered from the ReeFlex team with no issues.

The bulldog is back bro. Sorry I was gone so long. The wife had a massive heart attack and got a (4) quadruple bypass then, her kidneys stop working and had dialysis temporarily. Her doctor got her back to good health and she’s doing good. I almost lost her and the filming had to be put on the side.
