Im a pro photographer based in NYC. I shoot portraits and dance. I have thousands of dollars worth of gear. During the pandemic I wanted to shoot so I started working tabletop and found it really interesting. Im back to shooting dancers again . My husband recently gave me an iphone 13 pro max and I was blown away with the quality of the camera inside...macro, portrait.low light. Im doing a product shoot tomorrow and I am bringing my iphone along to see how it performs. I didnt realize there were interesting apps to go with it. Thank you for making me aware. I agree that talent and passion and patience in setting up are key. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for you message Jai, I’m glad you’re starting to look into taking your iPhone along with you. Let me know how you get on with it on your shoot 😁👊🏽
Omg you are awesome. You made a potentially very boring topic and made it super fun and interesting. I got all excited just hearing the first seconds of this video. You put just the right amount of explanation, passion, and clarity into it, to make it simple and straightforward but infused it with so much life. Thanks so much!
The excitement and passion when you talked about this has gotten me so excited to try to these techniques with my future products!! Thank you so much!! Instantly subscribed and cannot wait to explore your other videos!
Super helpful and thought out. You're amazing bro. For this being a video from a year ago, i can only imagine that your videos now are amazing. God bless you man.
Your video is SUPER helpful. I'm new to product photography but with the tips/steps you introduced in the video and some attempts my result turned out great. Thank you!
Thanks, I’m glad you’re staring to better results. Feel free to drop any suggestions here around other products photography areas you’re struggling with or need help with. I’m always looking for ideas to make videos for. 😁👊🏽
Love your accent, love the show and really appreciate the knowledge. I am loosing my vision and my new DSLR is very difficult for me to see out of. It’s IPhone from now on for me. 👍
Omg I took your advice for my products and used green tea leaves and by the way I’ve never taken any photos before. They are out of this world thank you
@@ShootSmartphone Can't wait to see them! I am trying to set my own youtube channel up but the nerves are getting the best of me in front of the camera. Any advice?
Thank you, I’m glad I was able to help. Shiny objects can be very tricky and probably a little in depth for me to answer in a comment. I think it would make a good video tutorial, so I’ve added it to my list of videos to do on the channel. 😁
Checking out some videos to get some better product photos for my etsy. I've watched a few and let me tell you this is by far the best one for me. Quick paced, kept me engaged and incredible results. It's given me some ideas to try. I expected you to have 1m plus subscribers. Scrolled up and was blown away by how little you have. Keep up the grind because content like this is incredible and you deserve to earn a living from UA-cam.
Hey, thanks for the great feedback. Maybe one day I’ll hit 1 million subscribers! I’m glad I was able to help check out my latest video if you’re interested in Etsy photography 😁👊🏽
The iPhone 14 pro max with the Lightroom app. The only reason to drag the Nikon out is because I've invested so much into good glass. Ill be using my phone and DSLR on photo and video shoots from now on.
I instantly subscribed and liked this video. Your energy is amazing! So inviting. Definitely a new fan. I’m using these tips for my products right now!
Thanks, unfortunately you can’t set the pixels or dimensions like that in Lightroom Mobile. Ou would have to do that in another app or on desktop. You can only adjust the aspect ratio in the Lightroom Mobile 👊🏽
Anil, many thanks for making this video ! It was exactly what I needed as for small product photography. I was hoping you might be able to answer a question. I'm using a Galaxy S21 phone. It's shooting well with natural light through Lightroom, but for some reason, the top areas of the screen are in sharp focus but the bottom area of the shots are somewhat soft. Could you tell me how to correct this ? I would be very appreciative if you can help me correct this 🙏
I feel so dumb. I've been a subscriber to Adobe CC for a long time and had no idea about the Lightroom mobile photography. I have an excellent camera in my phone too. But I'm not a photographer so it never occurred to me until tonight and I've been fighting with the built-in camera app
Well, what camera application do you use?? I have tried the product shot like you and it worked but i wanna take more control of the camera with the manual settings. So, help me out?!
@@ShootSmartphone thanks, I'll try the shoots with it tomorrow. Can you tell me how can i adjust the lights? I mean to minimise the shadows in the shots due to excess of lights.
It’s pretty hard to understand your question without a little more context, but if you want to control the light more, you can use black card or deflectors to shade off light, or you can use white white card or reflectors to bounce more light onto your products.
Do you take image for other businesses? I invented a product and am looking for interesting and creative images and taken by a professional like yourself. Very impressive. Btw.. my product is a mens goatee shaving template along with other products that go with it
Hey, unfortunately, this tripod is now discontinued. There is a link in the comments for a K&F Concept tipod that is a very good alternative the one that I'm using in this video.

I've been searching videos all day for this exactly. Awesome video my man! Thank you.
Best takeaway was to set up the grid and have the setup first. it makes the positioning process more easier.
This video was epic. I loved how you explained everything. Super inspiring. Thank you.

Great video to “de-confuse” product photography. Excellent video in every way. Thank you.

Nice, good luck with your channel 👊🏽
Great work. Really appreciate your enthusiasm to make the product look really outstanding. Did you use Lightroom Pro?
Yes, I used Lightroom Pro, but you don’t really need to Pro features to follow this tutorial 👊🏽😁
These are great vids. I’m trying to shoot my own brands beard butter and other bits and pieces, sat here with a note pad and pen. cheers mate.

this is more than GREAT, anil. if you keep this quality and style we will see you have 6 figure subs or even more pretty soon 👍🏻
Thanks, I appreciate the comment. That’s the plan 😁👊🏽
Why this channel has less than 6000 subs? This is truly gold
Thanks, hopefully hitting 6k subs in a few weeks 😁👊🏽

I think it would make a good video tutorial, so I’ve added it to my list of videos to do on the channel. 😁

Still has its place, depends on what you’re shooting for, but for web and social media which is 90% what I shoot for, a smartphone is great 😁👊🏽

Hi Anil you’ve got an amazing way of explaining things!! Just a question how do you set the pixels 3000*3000 via Lightroom mobile?
