APR Coil Packs for the MQB Mk7 GTI Engine!

- I want to get the most out of my EQT Stage 2 tune and keep the engine running as best as possible, so I ordered a set of APR coil packs for the Mk7 GTI! These should fit most VW Audi EA888 MQB engines and claim to provide a better spark and energy output over stock. I even saw a dyno video where these added more midrange horsepower. Who knows!

Honestly now is there any point in changing these to apr or any other upgrade makes ? Do you get any gains or performance?

been following also at EQT stage 2 been debating on getting this. let us know if you feel any difference. Also is that air filter really dirty or it just looks like it because of the lighting?
Probably could use a cleaning but might also just be dark
Go RS3 coil packs if on EQT my buddy had Apr coils and he didn’t like how the car felt so he went ahead with rs3 coil packs and it runs better
Installed brand new oem coilpacks last year before tune. Now im considering apr or rs3 coilpacks to support stage 2. Do you notice any change with these coilpacks?
Don't notice too much, I felt like it was worth upgrading since I did everything else.

Is the ground wire an oem setup or did you do that yourself and if you did what does it do?
It's EQTs grounding kit. I have a video on it
Does the order in which you put them in matter?
No
Can you run it with no tune?
Sure but really no point for the cost
Just bought the same coils, also bought RL turbo muffler delete, RL silicone boost hose set for turbo and polyurethane dog bone bushing insert from ECS - hoping to just improve air flow and maybe performance who knows. Also in prep for stage one remap. Exhaust and air intake already been done. Check out my channel sdw77. Your car is looking good👍🏽
Not trying to be negative but buy the red colour only to cover it up with the crappy VW engine cover but it's your car at the end of the day so...

The engine is ugly without the engine cover. Plus I don't even pop the hood at events or anything so no big deal.

You're not going to order these because they would be covered by the engine cover?
ECS tuning has a engine cover that you are able to see the coil pack
