thank you for the positive energy in the videos. I watch your new videos everyday. I just recovered from cancer, I'm 24 years old, you give me the energy to not give up on modelling. Thank you! best regards from Slovenia🇸🇮🇸🇮🇸🇮if u have anny crawler on sale i will be glad to have it. 😊
What a refreshingly original product. I like the way it uses the relatively new tech of 3D printing to make the retro experience of kit-building commercially viable.
Its cool . Not many RC go karts available . I have a Thunder Tiger 1/8 Brushless KT-8 Cart , It's about 15 yrs old I think . It's tricky to drive also .needs lots of rate adjustments and its ridiculously overpowered . But a fun unique RC for sure .
@@EdwardChewthe model presented in the video is like the 3rd RC go kart I've ever known about. I don't think I've ever heard about a 1/10 one. What model is it?
I have the Thunder Tiger go-kart and the Thunder Tiger Ducati 1/5th scale rc motorcycle with a nitro engine. Both are loads of fun. It's too bad they are discontinued. Luckily I can still get parts on eBay. Though I am gentle with them. I buy spares and hold onto them whenever they pop up.
Brilliant work, Phil! Awesome little car!!! 😃 But, you know, there are LOTS of 3d printable rc car projects out there... Even some on which you would use even oil shocks! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Id love to see you do a comparison to see how the ftx dr8 compares with some of the newer rc cars in the same sort of price bracket these days. I recently bought one and one of the weaknesses it did have with the pivot blocks seems to have been improved on with the newer versions having metal pivot blocks as stock now. The ftx dr8 can be had for £353 which is cheaper than the new traxxas stampede. Just an idea. Anyway keep up the awesome content.
Hope you’re getting commission Phil 😁 another very satisfying build video. These are my favourite I think. Thanks for making my cup of tea ten times better and cheering me up
My only issue with that would be the pla filament they used, you can just hear it crunch during assembly, i dont think those tiny connections will last Print it out of nylon or tpu with some steel wires instead of thin plastic for steering and bumper joints and it would be pretty neat and durable
As a recent subscriber to your Channel I’d like to say you’ve reignited my RC “flame” so much so , last night I bought an FTX Gladius! ..next payday it’s getting a few upgrades!
Minimum RC is a great company. I have many of their micro RC plane kits. My favorite is the Micro BAE Hawk 30mm EDF jet, which i can fly in my backyard or inside a gymnasium. They have all kinds of cool RC kits if you love to build them like I do. It's all small hobby-grade RCs that work brilliantly.
The cart would definitely be fun with some friends, perhaps just use it as a indoor car for the winter. But on another note are you ever planning on making a video on the Arrma Kraton/Outcast 4S V2.5?
A mate of mine recently bought a 30 bhp, tuned Kart engine for a project. Unfortunately, it came with the rest of the race kart chassis attached. Well, a 30 bhp kart motor in a race kart chassis, on slicks, on grass, is about as much fun as you can have without dying. The plan is to put some full wet tyres on the front, leave slicks on the back, and give it the beans.
@@TomleyRC, the only way to drive it on grass, on slicks all round, was to try to keep it in oversteer all the time. Took quite a bit of concentration, so much so that I nearly passed out, as I kept forgetting to breathe.
Hey, im about to spend a quite a bit on making a scale "class 1" rig, using probs a gmade kit chassis and 1.55 etc etc. I haven't seen much in the way of competitions or scale trucks on your channel so just wondered if youd like to give this a look? maybe make a class 1 rig to compete and show it from the start till when you enter? Just a thought. Love your videos and keep up the good work.
I just purchased this kart and there’s another one they call the retro racer it comes with a driver haven’t driven the kart as i am waiting for the battery the battery charger and receiver
Hy Tomley ! You are testing a lot of rc toys. Do you remember the Revell Turn'it ? It's out of stock but i would like to find something similar with left and right wheels independent and proportionnal throttle. Do you know something like this ? I've reused the receiver for creating my own tracked toys 😉 Thanx !
That's an interesting "toy" 😮 Seems to run well. I wish they'd put a driver in there, not everyone has a Joker (or others) laying around 😅 Speed test ? 😂 All the best 🤝
Ends today!... raffall.com/362336/enter-raffle-to-win-a-rare-traxxas-rc-car-hosted-by-phil-harrison
Now I want one
I already had ended

This channel is bad for my bank account, I had one ordered 2 minutes into the video
lol i have it so hard i need probably 3 of them.... i must not follow my impulse......
😂
@@TotheMax999 i failed... bought 2 of them
I’m not sorry 😅
I just ordered the ldrc 1/18 drift. Looking back i shouldnt have, but it will be fun.
What a refreshingly original product. I like the way it uses the relatively new tech of 3D printing to make the retro experience of kit-building commercially viable.
Nice! I saw this and thought about ordering one definitely will after seeing this video.
Hi
It’s pretty cool…. not sure you could drift it though 😅
Would you paint it purple tho
It's not super easy to control but I'm sure @RCDriftTok will manage to slide it like a pro. 😛
Change the tires and add a gyro maybe?
I like how joker leans every time you turn

i have a 1/10 open rc kart. not very nice to drive. oversteer 1 side, understeer another side, due to the spur gear being on 1 side.
@@EdwardChewthe model presented in the video is like the 3rd RC go kart I've ever known about. I don't think I've ever heard about a 1/10 one. What model is it?
I wish I could still get one this days... :p

How refreshing, an entertaining RC video without the need to smash the car into a 1000 pieces.
Keep up the great work.
So glad we didn't have to wait the two weeks haha can't believe how far RC cars have come on these days I love it
Crazy how good things have gotten 👌
That kart is begging for Mario to be the driver😊

Looks like a bit of fun! I've never put a kit together before, but I'd be interested to try this one out.

Looks awesome with the Joker in the Kart! Well done Phil! Awesome little kit. Thanks for sharing.
WOW you got one already! so fast! this brand is known for their mini indoor rc planes. This one looked so good with decals
I’ve had it a few weeks, but had a quick holiday between filming 😅
I'm not into rc ground vehicles, I like to fly. But tomleyrc is in my top 3 channels PERIOD on UA-cam.
Thank you :)
Wow....Finalmente un go kart in kit ....gran bel modello ...speriamo che fanno gli accessori ...bel video...ciao dall'Italia
Tomley here might be the best channel for indoor bang-for-buck fun.
Do I have to buy receiver and transmitter? So, what would you recommend? One with not too high price.
Your episode title is right on for this r/c cart. It is cool. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it’s a cool toy 😇
Wow that is super cool. It's great what people can dream up and now 3d print.
Didn't take long to swap screwdrivers, 1st build footage using a different one 😂
Yes haha… screwdriver in the kit was okay, but a magnetic one made it much easy with those tiny screws 😅

Cool product and great review👍
Looks good and fun to drive. Build seems relatively straight forward too. Maybe a little flimsy for someone as heavy handed as me though.
Yeah, I’m pretty heavy handed too 😅
Pretty good turner radius with a solid axle
Cool little Kart. I think with the short wheelbase on that thing it turns in great for cornering but is very techy on the straights.
Yes, needs a micro gyro
This needs a class
I can see a track layout and a few of these coming to my house
😇
Looks a fun bit of kit. 😊
MinimumRc is an rc plane company, and flysky is big in rc plane circles

As a kart racer and a rc enthusiast I love this
You could totally toss a Furitek ANT system in there for some brushless shenanigans.
I’ve been eyeing this one, it looks so cool!
This would be awesome for a racing series!
The cart would definitely be fun with some friends, perhaps just use it as a indoor car for the winter.
But on another note are you ever planning on making a video on the Arrma Kraton/Outcast 4S V2.5?
Very cool...
at first, I thought it was one of those Mario Kart RC things from A Main Hobbies.
A tiny Mario would be cool
That's actually sick
I agree 😇
Love the videos Phil. From Nova Scotia Canada.
Thanks Matt 👌
That’s soo cool 🙌 imagine if it was nitro with a tiny engine
That would be so cool!
Hello from New Zealand 🇳🇿, that'd be an awesome racing class.
Yes, would be awesome
Can an scx24 brushless motor fit on it? They look about the same size.
No, I think it would be a bit too big
Do 1.43 scale rwd drifting next im in love atm
Thank you Phil. I would like one of those! :)
Kyosho should do the 1/5 nitro again that thing was awesome and super realistic i dont like nitro but would look nice on the shelf
Cool little cart there 👍
I would like to know how to connect to the receiver? I cant get it to work properly...😢
thanks for being awesome 😎
🫡
That is so cool, I want one 😍
That is a really cool kit 👍🤙👌
One love from Nigeria ❤
🙏
Thats a cool car.... but that ⌚️ thou 💦
😇
As Schwarzenegger would say it..."bring it back to the carpet!" 😅
😅
What protocol for the receiver do you need if you want to use a dumborc?
I’m not sure… you’ll have to google it

just needs some bananas on the track
thanks for the vid.......I would love a NEW nitro RC of a kart
I cant stand little rc cars but its cool to see on your channel
Reminds me of the toy grade mario kart rc that you made hobby grade!
That looks really cool
Why did they 3D print them on sprues? Are these basically masters for injection moulding maybe? It seems a bit odd.
Also I noticed they made 3d printer.
Only made injection molding tires should be.
Traction like a gecko 🤣
That was great Phil
Cheers dude
At least The Joker was enjoying it!!!
i have the radio master mt12 what receiver did you use
What size is the Joker figure or the best size figure to fit on the go-kart?
Wow!! All the electronics are so tiny I've never seen him that small before😂 🤟✌️
That’s what she said

Is there a micro receiver that will work here and with WPL V2 controllers? And/or V3s?
The ink to the website is in the description. You'll find your answer there.
I’m sure you could probably find one

I need to hear Mark Hamill laugh with this
I just ordered 2 cars... The HBX 3100a V2 from this very shop.😅
Nice 👌
Looks like the joker had fun...
Didn't take long to switch out the screwdriver :P
the prophecy has been fulfilled, it's an actual evil jonkler cart
I need this for my mario kart cosplay and have shyguy in it because I cosplay as shygal😊
Brushless conversion?
Need one to sit next to my nitro kyosho go cart
