You'll need an HDMI to DVI connector (older tvs generally have a DVI connector at least - and you'll also have to get "digital audio" o RCA audio adaptor as well - double system video and audio-- Good Luck!

don't know if anyone can help. Have a first gen, white box apple TV. After AT&T did some work on our cable, they had unplugged the apple. Plugged the HDMI back in, set back up to my wifi, but will not read it. It shows in settings that Im on tho. Any thoughts? Thanks!
you will need an active hdmi to vga adapter. its just a thin little cable it probably wont do. just look for a short adapter with a bluky ish vga conector
But how do you "hit" submit? I couldn't find a way to do this. On a computer keyboard or a smartphone keyboard, there is an enter key, but I saw nothing like that here.

The new OSX states you can now in the taskbar switch on and off apple tv mirror screening from macbook. 2. I see the option listed "computer" on Apple TV menu. Does that mean I can connect to my computer screen and see whats on my computer and access files from my computer on my Apple TV? 3. Can the apple tv communicate with projector and macbook still if it connects to my router but my router is not connected to a internet connection? I do not want to use any online services, I just want it to connect to my macbook files.. Send an email and maybe that will be easier.
