1st rare me and my brother duoed as noone else was in the mine...near death experience many times lol, I about shit bricks when I got a mount from the rare so I was hellbent on killing more, we killed about 4 other rares (2 as a duo and 2 with a few of each faction...only got gold and small chunks of azerite >_< so yeah lame, but getting the mount on the 1st rare kinda made my day regardless

There's so many sloppy mistakes this expansion. Lots of misplaces assets (lilypads floating 3 meters above the water, ravens sitting in mid air 5 meters away from the object they were supposed to sit on) and there's music cutting off weirdly when you enter a cave or something, many many bugs, dialogue that gets cut off or doubled up, and more
Maybe they should give themselves more time and we shouldnt be paying to test something that went through beta and alpha with almost no bug fixes. A lot of people reported these things before the game hit live.
Aaaand Warfronts were nerfed before Alliance could access the Scenario. Now requires 320 item level instead of no requirement at all. Horde alts can skip M0 but not Alliance alts.
Oh WAAAH some more. The "advantage" was there until it got patched out for *****3***** days. thats it. Just 3 days. A vast majority of Horde players never got to take advantage of it. Stop whinging.
"Fun, but not really something you want to repeat forever" is essentially how this expansion has felt for me so far. It's much of the same as Legion, but with shittier rewards in general (WQs, champion table, reputation gains, the new necklace is very boring compared to artifacts, azerite traits are often poorly designed...) and it doesn't generate much excitement for the future of this patch tbh.
Azerite traits are so bad lol. I was assa but got better weapon so i switched to outlaw. Then i got daggers, rolled back and realised, well im not doing as much dps in assa. Then i rolled 2 bis traits on 370 chest and 340 head. Suddently im 2k dps over outlaw, bursting for 20k with hero, and my garrote from stealth ticks for 5500. Literally wtf.
Really? I feel like bfa is throwing way more epics our way than legion did in the beginning. I mean my bags have like 12 ilvl 340 pieces and I have scrapped a ton too. But I do agree AZ traits are wacked out. Some are clearly the winners and the rest are garbage you put in the scrapper.
Fair enough. But at least adding a level to it was more than just 2 item levels and unlocked an actual ability on your character... It combined old and new talent trees in a way. This heart of Azeroth ilvl increase is just boring AF. In fact, with all the cool things that got cut via artifacts, my class feel pretty damn plain right now.
I managed to beat Uldir with a pug, took 3 days though, and many, many wipes. The pug killers for me were MOTHER and Mythrax, but eventually I got into some pugs that put out a discord, bought feasts for everyone, and actually coordinated, assigned positions in Mythrax and we finally got it after 3 attempts, next G'huun we kept getting him to 7%, it eventually got late and we all had to go, the next time i tried it, I managed to luckily find another coordinated pug group, and I'd say about 10+ attempts later we finally killed it, and the screams in discord as G'huun died was amazing.
I am an alchemist so I understand that, and yeah the lack of a cinematic was kind of disappointing. I was expecting something small like Talanji breathing a sigh of relief as G'huun falls and then it cuts to the Zandalari capital with her standing at the top over her people shouting their victory against the blood trolls and the fall of G'huun.
Some of my guildies said if you get teleported to Arathi during the intro quest and get out you can't get into the new Arathi haha. So they stayed inside for a long time. It was fun.
With me it went like: Q: "How do you get there". A: "Closest portal is Orgrimmar to Twilight Highlands" Mounted flying mount, pointed in the direction of Arathi, flew there, didn't get dismounted, no questions asked about only being able to use groundmounts at all.
Warfront just served to give the horde a massive advantage in ilvl. They get a guaranteed ilvl 370 and a 340 and can repeat it endlessly for an at least 340 item that can upgrade to 390... As alliance you get one shot at a 370 and can only kill rare mobs for loot once a week
I've yet to be convinced about warfronts. If I liken it to the Broken Shore, at least the building there become available on a more regular cycle. Waiting a week or more to do the warfront scenario seems poor.
Mark some of your mounts as favorites, especially make sure to mark one that flies, then use the Summon Random Favorite Mount feature and you will automatically use one of your favorite flying mounts whenever you're in a flying zone.
I disagree that the dungeons seem designed with Mythic+ in mind. The dungeons feel really rushed. I feel like the philosophy around them was to add too much trash since the dungeons would be too easy and short otherwise. Trash is unrewarding, bosses are rewarding. They should've stuck to that!
Anyone know if there are plans for putting back fullscreen in? (Before you say it, windowed fullscreen is NOT the same). For me it's just not playable/enjoyable in windowed fullscreen.
Gate timing is the one problem. The war fronts are pretty much worthless right now. I have done all of the quests and it is boring now. You have to wait for either the Alliance or Horde to do something. I have not seen any kind of loot that is worth killing the elites again and again. I have already defeated the world boss, but did not receive loot. I am okay with not receiving any loot from the world boss. I can always kill that one again. It just needs more quests to be relevant.
Random tidbits: The Master (Mathias Shaw) now has a table. Just realized this today when I “stayed and listened.” His discussions with Trollbane do not put him in the greatest light. Gorak Tul has three eyes in his forehead like Azshara. Gilneans will settle in Kul’Tiras. Night Elves will settle in Val’shara (minus the Dream Grove) - a fortress, a world tree and a Temple of Elune are all in the zone. Tyrande will recruit the Court of Farondis - undead elves to balance San’layn. The portals in the Great Seal and in Silithus to the Heart of Azeroth are all the same shape as the Heart of Darkness from above. Yes, they are all Titan…yet, very different from the Titan portal pads we’ve seen before. Is it just an old design or is it foreshadowing something ominous? Interestingly, there three sides/lobes on the design…is that indicating three factions as has been speculated previously and more recently ditched?
Legion feels alot better in alot of rewarding ways still and powerful i feel like we have gone back to WOD w life around 100k to 300k. i dont like the idea of not even being able to make realms more friendly ..by just throwing the gold away when we cant send to other toons 4 example.
Anybody else feel a little sad that a new raid has released that you're probably not going to see outside of a terrible LFR experience, or coming back to solo at lvl 130+? I remember the excitement of new raids opening and the rush for server first kills, ticking off all the hard mode achievements and carefully tuning your individual performance, whilst discussing tactics on your guild forum in your lunch break and those late night ventrilo discussions... good times. Yes, I miss raiding, but I think what I miss most is a good bunch of people who all like raiding, have patience and respect for one another and enjoy each other's company. If you're in a guild with those things, you truly are playing a different game to most of us. Cherish it.
Tbh bro, bad groups are a lot in pugs, but good groups are there as well, on Wednesday in eu, me and my guild killed first 3 boss then called it a night, then i went pugs and 2 group was lame, 3rd one was great. We used in-game voice chat and finished up to Ghuun giving up ghuun after 2 wipe coz it was around 5am for most ppl. It was great and fun :D
Magtheridon Ruler of Outland - I was in a good and serious guild, but people have lives, people move on, stop playing, have kids, etc. so most of the people on my server moved on. I'm on Aszune EU (Horde), a practically dead server these days...
I’ve had a glitch involving fast travel between continents not taking me to the right place 3 times. Twice the zeppelin from northrend has dropped me at a graveyard in stone talon, and the boat from ratchet to booty bay somehow sent me to the old alliance entrance to AV in hillsbrad

I have to comment on Warfronts. I am disappointed in them. I know we haven't done the scenario yet and it might be amazing. But and this is a big but, it can in no way be worth it. The game play if you own it is pitiful. 7-8 go kill 20 of these highly concentrated mobs quests for some AP and war resources. Then you get one world boss and one faction specific rare. That's it. All the regular rares can be killed even if you don't own it. And you can only do all of that once until it changes hands. 1-2 hours worth of content and then you sit around and wait a week before you can do the rares again. Then you throw possibly tens of thousands of gold away so you can wait another week before you can do the scenario so you can have access to the quests and world boss again. At LEAST throw a couple dailies in there with some decent 7th/Honor rep for the faction that owns it. And it would be really nice if you shortened that week wait for it to change hands down to 3-4 days.
I agree with you, I expected this to he more like Wintergrasp where both sides got different dailies/weeklies gain some rep maybe some sort of coin like resource you can give to a vendor and buy the items you will need for attack phase.
A week after I hit 120 I cancelled my sub!! I felt disjointed bored and confused with the post 120 availability, simply because blizzard hyped the balls out of it saying it was going to be great ..... Errrr no!! Let's be honest it's crap, mundane and essentially a very poor man's legion!! In the fourteen years of playing wow I think this is the first expansion I can't really put a big positive excited spin on it!! Once you reach max level the rewards are exponentially more underwhelming than legion, and yet again blizzard lied about much with this expansion!! There are so many angry posts about this expansion, but in an attempt to save face and play it down, the odious clowns at blizzard seem to be deleting many of them!! Already feeling like the worst and most piss poor excuse of expansion by a country mile and unless they make a LOT of improvements with a LOT more incentive to even bother with this inept attempt then more and more will stop playing!!
yup also cancelled my subscription 2 weeks ago. I actually was hyped for the expansion, but since it launched it was just fucking boring. I really dont think i ll ever return to WoW. I mean they fuck this game up more and more every expansion, catering ultra casuals, making everything RNG, Shopmounts, WoW-Token, etc. I cant say that they have added one good thing since cataclysm. I already hated Legion, but the hope for BfA to get better made me stay. Now where BfA is already directly after launch bullshit and the hope that WoW ever gets enjoyable again is completely dead, i guess now is the time to leave this game.

Actually the high level keystone from the weekly cache was very useful. Loads of people were able to simply lower the key to a +10 to get an easy +10 key they could do in a few hours for next weeks chest. Getting a +10 key legit this week was rather hard so getting an instant +10 was a huge freebie.
I didn't get any repeated world quests, but first day when I was leveling with a friend I had some normal quests pop again after I turned them in. I thought I was just tired and didn't finish it with my friend.
Ghastly10 Let's be honest, LFR is gonna be a joke. Mother won't do raid-wide damage when someone crosses into another room. Mythrax will just stand there and auto attack the tank There won't be any orbs on ghuun and he'll already be out of his hole with 100% damage taken debuff. Let's not pretend like LFR is difficult in any way.
@@stevefrench7512 too much content is timegated, gear is too easy to get this early of the expansion, and a majority of the content after the questing zones consists of boring world quest and rep grinding. All of which is supposed to last 2 years. There isn't enough content and doing the same thing over and over again shouldn't happen a month in to a new expansion.
There is literally no timegate except the warfronts that are not arbitrarily and do serve a function. And no rep gate is not time gate. And again no, rep farm and wq are not main content is just something to make you explore the world for the first few weeks/months of the xpac and properly see the new zones. M+/Raids/Islands/Warfronts and each new patch content are the things supposedly keeping you here for 2 years. Just accept that you are bored of the game. Its nothing wrong with that but stop making up excuses to justify that.

I'm SO looking forward to hearing about your guild holiday experience. We get together every year, and next year is our 10th anniversary, and it is SO much fun - And in all honesty, it creates a bond that can't be described with words, besides "family".
tbh i've been having burnout ever since the xpac came out, but i still like to hear about new stuff even tho i've stopped playing. Anyone else having these kinda feelings? I havent even finished lvling my Warrior or my Rogue.
I am starting to have that right now. Really considering to unsub as well. I just cant find the energy or joy to log in and do the ''grind'', even though all these new things just came out.
Yeah, it just feels like more Legion in a new location and with worse class design and I'm pretty over it. I'm seriously thinking of taking a break for a few months and seeing how things looks after the next major patch.

I think you may miss a point about public world race. Indeed, other guilds can see your strats, but the whole twitch chat can participate to your strats too. And you should never underestimate twitch chat !
Only reason Method is streaming their raid is b/c of chinese guild streaming theirs. Normally, other guilds wait till the beat the boss and then release the kill video after quite a few guilds have killed it. Yet because of Chinese guilds, Method doesn't get the revenue they deserve as other guilds stream their progression. With that in mind, and recognizing your comment was sarcastic, I just wanted to point out that a few bad apples spoil the rest---as shown in the Antorus twitch stream of mythic Argus.
I feel like Warfronts are designed to be a major source of gear for us casual players who don't raid or do M+. When it's your faction's turn to run the scenario, you get a guaranteed 370 piece of gear. And when you control it, you get an extra boss to spend your second re-roll on (assuming you used you first re-roll on the other world boss). Between all that, you're usually getting at least one significant gear upgrade per week. And honestly, if all I do at max level is transmog runs, pet/mount farming, and daily emissary quests for rep, that's a good, reliable source of gearing for me. I approve of this system.
Sadly, so far this expansion is rather underwhelming. To me it feels like the worst expansion so far (even worse than WoD which was at least very exciting at the beginning). Almost every aspect of the game is a little bit worse than it was in legion. In general it feels like WoW took several steps back in quality. Maybe my expectations were just too high. I'm thinking of just stop playing the game right now and maybe hop in a few weeks or even months later.
Same here. The game needed a talent and profession revamp. It got neither! BFA could've at the very least given level 120 talents to choose from. This is the most underwhelming expansion ever.
Yeah I have also friends who are really enjoying the expansion. For me its only interesting part so far is the story, everything else just doesn't "evolve" the game in a positive way. For me there are just to many bad things in this expansion. I already hated the artifact-system and naturally I don't like the azerite-system either. I don't understand why there is still a mission table and why are the factions locked behind a reputation-grind (or not even available) at the beginning of an expansion? I think something that gets people the most excited at the beginning of a new expansion are new races and/or classes. Then many specs (not all, but most) play themselves worse then in legion....but then again, not everyone likes the same things or perceives it in the same way (which is also good).
As a veteran 8 something year player of WoW, I look forward every week or so for Taliesen and Evitels' new episodes to bring the WoW news in a lovely and uniquely joyful way. Keep up the great work!~

if it's incredibly difficult and requires planning than that sounds like it is indeed made with mythic+ in mind, mythic+ is supposed to be the top-end non raid content

Hey, I know this is sort of a long shot, but could you do an in-game comparison of the Alliance and Horde intros to their respective dungeons by chance? I've seen the intro for the Siege of Boralus but no luck with the others. It would be an interesting watch to see how different the dialog is for both factions.
I'm not sure when the mount whistle for Legion was enabled in BFA, perhaps it was a quest reward I didn't read, but I'm sure I spent a good amount of time riding around when I could have used the whistle.
You mean the flight master whistle? I actually didn't finish leveling and let my sub run out but I'd take a guess it was when you got world quests unlocked.
I was a victim of the Khor cosmetic fix and I still kept my old weapon in my bags, and was so happy when they set it back to 355 for people who looted before fix.
I used to love Ceefax, the amount of time I used to watch the footie score on Saturday when I was a kid. I remember once I waited ages for the scores to update and they just stayed the same not realising my evil brother had pressed HOLD and never told me. Swine!!!
Uldir has by far the ugliest and way too simplistic-looking raid tier sets in the game, they look like the kind of armor u get from standard quests a.k.a green items. I thought Ahn Quiraj had the ugliest sets in the game.....and then along came Uldir
Warfronts, from a horde perspective; were a clusterfuck. We had nothing to do for 7 days, and then when they were meant to go live it was 4 HOURS before we could actually queue without bugging out and ended up with dungeon deserter.
My addons automatically summon flying mounts if I can fly, ground if not, so I was able to figure out I could fly in Arathi without any problem whatsoever. It was questing on the Echo Isles for the Revered Zandalari storyline that I briefly forgot I could fly for..
While there are so many moments of lol when watching your videos, I couldn't stop chuckling at the "W2B Anchor Weed" sign. As an Herbalist /Alchemist this herb is the bane of my existence especially with raids kicking off and team members needing flasks and pots. Great video guys! Have fun on holiday.
I forgot I could fly in Arathi while doing the introduction quest, but remembered it just before picking up the kill quests. I'm kinda mad that the Horde gets to do the warfront first, because my Alliance main is in desperate need of easy gear. I want to do the ending to Kul Tiras which is locked behind a mythic dungeon, but the loot drops in dungeons have been awful. My Horde main on the other hand has already done two mythic dungeons, the first being the mythic only King's Rest, but I'm still looking forward to doing the warfront from the Horde's perspective.
small correction about achievement: blizzard said that after getting 100 guilds it still will work for other guilds which will kill the boss on that reset, so a bit more than 100 gilds will get it
I just realized something about Bwonsamdi. Him getting flustered that he didn't get Vol'jins soul and his boss will be angry, it comes with a line that alludes to him only having been unable to deliver a soul once before. Could that soul be Sylvanas?
That's not true. You make a deal with him that the next million things you kill their soul belongs to him. He also resurrected Vol'jins human friend without issue. He also took the souls of the fallen pandaran in the Shadopan temple. Etc, Etc, Etc. He at the very least has access to whatever soul he pleases. His role is not limited to Trolls at all.
BFA is by far the worst Expac, not just for WOW but any MMO ive ever played, inc Lotro, and SWTOR ill explain 1. Island Expeditions - absolute waste of time, have done 300+ and havent got any Green armor, or blue weapons, the RNG is f'ing terrible, and i wont be doing anymore of this hot mess 2. Uldir - very boring gear stat wise and looks wise, way better itemization in +mythics if u can be lucky enough to even get anything, this raid is WAY Overtuned , and not worth the time invest to get the crap gear 3. +mythics Legion affix's dont work in most of these , the RNG of gear is f'ing terrible (i did 20 +mythics got 3 drops , 2 were the same item, and all 3 werent upgrades stat wise) 4. Warfronts- these are on a 4 week cycle (1 week of enemy gathering, 1 week of enemy attacking, 1 week of our gathering, and then we actually get to do it. It's on a monthly cycle.), that alone makes them a waste of dev time to even put into the game, so now the horde gets a headstart, not just to gear, but a huge edge in pvp, because gear matters now 5. item level scaling- terrible decision blizz 6. unfinished classes - if u play a balance druid, feral druid, mm hunter, shadow priest etc etc, no one wants you in there grp, sorry fam 7' artifact necklace - still don't understand why this exists, and why they didn't just keep the artifact weapon going, especially with RNG drops so what does this expac actually offer??? i wish i could get a refund for this trash, if i knew what this expac was going to contain, i would never have bought myself, and my wife the collectors edition sets of this crap , and i highly suggest if you are thinking of coming back to WOW dont lol, this expac isnt worth $10 as it is now

I had a bug where when I was healing in PvP i had a mana regen of -687 and just kept draining. They fixed it quickly, but it was so annoying for those 2 matches, haha.
5:16 They were not useless AT ALL. Many downgraded their keys to +10 (I know of several cases) and run them. It took hours to finish the dungeon, but they got +10 loot and tomorrow they'll have a +10 weekly chest

Why the hell is Horde in Arathi anyway? If Alliance controls Undercity/Lorderon, the closest Horde city is Silvermoon which is nowhere near Arathi. The RP and Lore doesn't make sense to me.
Alliance doesn't control Undercity/Lordaeron, they were going to until Sylvanas filled the whole place with plague gas making it not suitable for anyone honestly. The real question is how did the Alliance get such a huge force to Lordaeron without taking over Hillsbrad and Silverpine first. We didn't see airships and I'd assume they would've kept at least one around if they had used them.
Hey, a question from a new player. Can someone explain to my why LFR Raiding is not a thing for like a next month? I was so excited to raid and see it all for myself until I realized that for now I can only play it through group finder and all the people want you to have 340 gear when my gear is 330 and there is no way to make it higher without playing mythic dungeons which as a new, solo player without guild or friends [sad face] I really can't do. My subscription runs out in 8 days and I guess I'll wait with resubing for the next 2-3 weeks until the whole raid is LFR'able and then try it. So again, can someone please help me understand why LFR raiding is not a thing from day 1 of the release?
When I first started playing, I tried to solo almost everything in WoW, so I understand your position. But short answer is: you have to find people to play with to get the full experience. WoW has always encouraged and emphasized social interaction and team building. The better the reward, be it story or loot, has always come with more of a challenge - and those challenges will increasingly require multiple people, group composition, coordination, planning, and communication. LFR is typically regarded as the lowest tier of difficulty, where most of the challenge comes from other players either being lazy or flat out toxic. I'd recommend trying to find a social guild to join, one with many active players and voice chat. See if you can find some friendly people to attempt some mythic dungeons together and not rage out on each other when something goes wrong. That or use the group finder and friends list: start your own group for a dungeon and make it clear it's a chill/learning run. Then if you run with some person and you like how they played/behaved, toss them a friend invite. Once you get a good network of familiar players, you can experience the higher end content much more easily. Don't be afraid to put your hand out in game and try to meet and play with others. Trust me, it's a much more satisfying experience than spamming LFG or sitting in a queue for hours
Most satisfying thing so far in BFA is the Tiragarde Sound scenario where the horde helps the pirates mutiny and as a elemental shaman you click Purge everytime Captain Rennik (probably spelled wrong) uses "Azerite potion" to get stronger. He goes all big and musculary and the you pop his ballon muscles with Purge. I don't know it that's really sad or just sad that either or BFA is that bad or I have really low standards regarding fun these day (Insert thoughful emoji here)

There's so many sloppy mistakes this expansion. Lots of misplaces assets (lilypads floating 3 meters above the water, ravens sitting in mid air 5 meters away from the object they were supposed to sit on) and there's music cutting off weirdly when you enter a cave or something, many many bugs, dialogue that gets cut off or doubled up, and more
the beginnning of an expan has a lot of bugs so just give it a bit lol

Maybe they should give themselves more time and we shouldnt be paying to test something that went through beta and alpha with almost no bug fixes. A lot of people reported these things before the game hit live.

Aaaand Warfronts were nerfed before Alliance could access the Scenario. Now requires 320 item level instead of no requirement at all. Horde alts can skip M0 but not Alliance alts.

It's much of the same as Legion, but with shittier rewards in general (WQs, champion table, reputation gains, the new necklace is very boring compared to artifacts, azerite traits are often poorly designed...) and it doesn't generate much excitement for the future of this patch tbh.
Azerite traits are so bad lol. I was assa but got better weapon so i switched to outlaw. Then i got daggers, rolled back and realised, well im not doing as much dps in assa. Then i rolled 2 bis traits on 370 chest and 340 head. Suddently im 2k dps over outlaw, bursting for 20k with hero, and my garrote from stealth ticks for 5500.

Really? I feel like bfa is throwing way more epics our way than legion did in the beginning. I mean my bags have like 12 ilvl 340 pieces and I have scrapped a ton too. But I do agree AZ traits are wacked out. Some are clearly the winners and the rest are garbage you put in the scrapper.
I'll be real, I never really liked the artifact weapon thing. Too forced and when everyone and their mum has an ashbringer it just loses its appeal.
Fair enough. But at least adding a level to it was more than just 2 item levels and unlocked an actual ability on your character... It combined old and new talent trees in a way. This heart of Azeroth ilvl increase is just boring AF.
In fact, with all the cool things that got cut via artifacts, my class feel pretty damn plain right now.
I managed to beat Uldir with a pug, took 3 days though, and many, many wipes. The pug killers for me were MOTHER and Mythrax, but eventually I got into some pugs that put out a discord, bought feasts for everyone, and actually coordinated, assigned positions in Mythrax and we finally got it after 3 attempts, next G'huun we kept getting him to 7%, it eventually got late and we all had to go, the next time i tried it, I managed to luckily find another coordinated pug group, and I'd say about 10+ attempts later we finally killed it, and the screams in discord as G'huun died was amazing.

I am an alchemist so I understand that, and yeah the lack of a cinematic was kind of disappointing. I was expecting something small like Talanji breathing a sigh of relief as G'huun falls and then it cuts to the Zandalari capital with her standing at the top over her people shouting their victory against the blood trolls and the fall of G'huun.

Warfront just served to give the horde a massive advantage in ilvl. They get a guaranteed ilvl 370 and a 340 and can repeat it endlessly for an at least 340 item that can upgrade to 390... As alliance you get one shot at a 370 and can only kill rare mobs for loot once a week
Try rare mobs every few weeks, the rare didn't reset after second week sadly
do arenas... faster way to gear up, unless u wanna do it staying afk... in which case, shame on u

I've yet to be convinced about warfronts. If I liken it to the Broken Shore, at least the building there become available on a more regular cycle. Waiting a week or more to do the warfront scenario seems poor.
Mark some of your mounts as favorites, especially make sure to mark one that flies, then use the Summon Random Favorite Mount feature and you will automatically use one of your favorite flying mounts whenever you're in a flying zone.

I disagree that the dungeons seem designed with Mythic+ in mind. The dungeons feel really rushed. I feel like the philosophy around them was to add too much trash since the dungeons would be too easy and short otherwise. Trash is unrewarding, bosses are rewarding. They should've stuck to that!
I think part of the problem is that first week of M+ started with Fortitude, making the trash abnormally tougher compared to the bosses.

Gate timing is the one problem. The war fronts are pretty much worthless right now. I have done all of the quests and it is boring now. You have to wait for either the Alliance or Horde to do something. I have not seen any kind of loot that is worth killing the elites again and again. I have already defeated the world boss, but did not receive loot. I am okay with not receiving any loot from the world boss. I can always kill that one again. It just needs more quests to be relevant.

Anybody else feel a little sad that a new raid has released that you're probably not going to see outside of a terrible LFR experience, or coming back to solo at lvl 130+? I remember the excitement of new raids opening and the rush for server first kills, ticking off all the hard mode achievements and carefully tuning your individual performance, whilst discussing tactics on your guild forum in your lunch break and those late night ventrilo discussions... good times.
Yes, I miss raiding, but I think what I miss most is a good bunch of people who all like raiding, have patience and respect for one another and enjoy each other's company. If you're in a guild with those things, you truly are playing a different game to most of us. Cherish it.
Tbh bro, bad groups are a lot in pugs, but good groups are there as well, on Wednesday in eu, me and my guild killed first 3 boss then called it a night, then i went pugs and 2 group was lame, 3rd one was great. We used in-game voice chat and finished up to Ghuun giving up ghuun after 2 wipe coz it was around 5am for most ppl. It was great and fun :D

I have to comment on Warfronts. I am disappointed in them. I know we haven't done the scenario yet and it might be amazing. But and this is a big but, it can in no way be worth it. The game play if you own it is pitiful. 7-8 go kill 20 of these highly concentrated mobs quests for some AP and war resources. Then you get one world boss and one faction specific rare. That's it. All the regular rares can be killed even if you don't own it. And you can only do all of that once until it changes hands.
1-2 hours worth of content and then you sit around and wait a week before you can do the rares again. Then you throw possibly tens of thousands of gold away so you can wait another week before you can do the scenario so you can have access to the quests and world boss again.
At LEAST throw a couple dailies in there with some decent 7th/Honor rep for the faction that owns it. And it would be really nice if you shortened that week wait for it to change hands down to 3-4 days.

I mean they fuck this game up more and more every expansion, catering ultra casuals, making everything RNG, Shopmounts, WoW-Token, etc. I cant say that they have added one good thing since cataclysm. I already hated Legion, but the hope for BfA to get better made me stay. Now where BfA is already directly after launch bullshit and the hope that WoW ever gets enjoyable again is completely dead, i guess now is the time to leave this game.

Actually the high level keystone from the weekly cache was very useful. Loads of people were able to simply lower the key to a +10 to get an easy +10 key they could do in a few hours for next weeks chest. Getting a +10 key legit this week was rather hard so getting an instant +10 was a huge freebie.

All of which is supposed to last 2 years. There isn't enough content and doing the same thing over and over again shouldn't happen a month in to a new expansion.

There is literally no timegate except the warfronts that are not arbitrarily and do serve a function. And no rep gate is not time gate. And again no, rep farm and wq are not main content is just something to make you explore the world for the first few weeks/months of the xpac and properly see the new zones. M+/Raids/Islands/Warfronts and each new patch content are the things supposedly keeping you here for 2 years. Just accept that you are bored of the game. Its nothing wrong with that but stop making up excuses to justify that.

Only reason Method is streaming their raid is b/c of chinese guild streaming theirs. Normally, other guilds wait till the beat the boss and then release the kill video after quite a few guilds have killed it. Yet because of Chinese guilds, Method doesn't get the revenue they deserve as other guilds stream their progression.
With that in mind, and recognizing your comment was sarcastic, I just wanted to point out that a few bad apples spoil the rest---as shown in the Antorus twitch stream of mythic Argus.
I feel like Warfronts are designed to be a major source of gear for us casual players who don't raid or do M+. When it's your faction's turn to run the scenario, you get a guaranteed 370 piece of gear. And when you control it, you get an extra boss to spend your second re-roll on (assuming you used you first re-roll on the other world boss). Between all that, you're usually getting at least one significant gear upgrade per week. And honestly, if all I do at max level is transmog runs, pet/mount farming, and daily emissary quests for rep, that's a good, reliable source of gearing for me. I approve of this system.
Sadly, so far this expansion is rather underwhelming. To me it feels like the worst expansion so far (even worse than WoD which was at least very exciting at the beginning). Almost every aspect of the game is a little bit worse than it was in legion. In general it feels like WoW took several steps back in quality. Maybe my expectations were just too high. I'm thinking of just stop playing the game right now and maybe hop in a few weeks or even months later.
Same here. The game needed a talent and profession revamp. It got neither! BFA could've at the very least given level 120 talents to choose from. This is the most underwhelming expansion ever.

Yeah I have also friends who are really enjoying the expansion. For me its only interesting part so far is the story, everything else just doesn't "evolve" the game in a positive way. For me there are just to many bad things in this expansion. I already hated the artifact-system and naturally I don't like the azerite-system either. I don't understand why there is still a mission table and why are the factions locked behind a reputation-grind (or not even available) at the beginning of an expansion? I think something that gets people the most excited at the beginning of a new expansion are new races and/or classes. Then many specs (not all, but most) play themselves worse then in legion....but then again, not everyone likes the same things or perceives it in the same way (which is also good).

if it's incredibly difficult and requires planning than that sounds like it is indeed made with mythic+ in mind, mythic+ is supposed to be the top-end non raid content

Motherload has been the worse so far. Those adds just hover over sanguine forever and you cant move much or you pull another pack.

Uldir has by far the ugliest and way too simplistic-looking raid tier sets in the game, they look like the kind of armor u get from standard quests a.k.a green items. I thought Ahn Quiraj had the ugliest sets in the game.....and then along came Uldir

Warfronts, from a horde perspective; were a clusterfuck. We had nothing to do for 7 days, and then when they were meant to go live it was 4 HOURS before we could actually queue without bugging out and ended up with dungeon deserter.

My addons automatically summon flying mounts if I can fly, ground if not, so I was able to figure out I could fly in Arathi without any problem whatsoever.

I forgot I could fly in Arathi while doing the introduction quest, but remembered it just before picking up the kill quests. I'm kinda mad that the Horde gets to do the warfront first, because my Alliance main is in desperate need of easy gear. I want to do the ending to Kul Tiras which is locked behind a mythic dungeon, but the loot drops in dungeons have been awful. My Horde main on the other hand has already done two mythic dungeons, the first being the mythic only King's Rest, but I'm still looking forward to doing the warfront from the Horde's perspective.

small correction about achievement: blizzard said that after getting 100 guilds it still will work for other guilds which will kill the boss on that reset, so a bit more than 100 gilds will get it

He also resurrected Vol'jins human friend without issue.
He also took the souls of the fallen pandaran in the Shadopan temple.

He at the very least has access to whatever soul he pleases.
His role is not limited to Trolls at all.

BFA is by far the worst Expac, not just for WOW but any MMO ive ever played, inc Lotro, and SWTOR
ill explain
1. Island Expeditions - absolute waste of time, have done 300+ and havent got any Green armor, or blue weapons, the RNG is f'ing terrible, and i wont be doing anymore of this hot mess
2. Uldir - very boring gear stat wise and looks wise, way better itemization in +mythics if u can be lucky enough to even get anything, this raid is WAY Overtuned , and not worth the time invest to get the crap gear
3. +mythics Legion affix's dont work in most of these , the RNG of gear is f'ing terrible (i did 20 +mythics got 3 drops , 2 were the same item, and all 3 werent upgrades stat wise)
4. Warfronts- these are on a 4 week cycle (1 week of enemy gathering, 1 week of enemy attacking, 1 week of our gathering, and then we actually get to do it. It's on a monthly cycle.), that alone makes them a waste of dev time to even put into the game, so now the horde gets a headstart, not just to gear, but a huge edge in pvp, because gear matters now
5. item level scaling- terrible decision blizz
6. unfinished classes - if u play a balance druid, feral druid, mm hunter, shadow priest etc etc, no one wants you in there grp, sorry fam
7' artifact necklace - still don't understand why this exists, and why they didn't just keep the artifact weapon going, especially with RNG drops
so what does this expac actually offer???
i wish i could get a refund for this trash, if i knew what this expac was going to contain, i would never have bought myself, and my wife the collectors edition sets of this crap

I had a bug where when I was healing in PvP i had a mana regen of -687 and just kept draining. They fixed it quickly, but it was so annoying for those 2 matches, haha.

5:16 They were not useless AT ALL. Many downgraded their keys to +10 (I know of several cases) and run them. It took hours to finish the dungeon, but they got +10 loot and tomorrow they'll have a +10 weekly chest

Why the hell is Horde in Arathi anyway? If Alliance controls Undercity/Lorderon, the closest Horde city is Silvermoon which is nowhere near Arathi. The RP and Lore doesn't make sense to me.
Alliance doesn't control Undercity/Lordaeron, they were going to until Sylvanas filled the whole place with plague gas making it not suitable for anyone honestly. The real question is how did the Alliance get such a huge force to Lordaeron without taking over Hillsbrad and Silverpine first. We didn't see airships and I'd assume they would've kept at least one around if they had used them.
@@KazumiKiguma Dun Morogh is right there and it's a coastal city allowing for ships to transport troops and supplies.

Hey, a question from a new player. Can someone explain to my why LFR Raiding is not a thing for like a next month? I was so excited to raid and see it all for myself until I realized that for now I can only play it through group finder and all the people want you to have 340 gear when my gear is 330 and there is no way to make it higher without playing mythic dungeons which as a new, solo player without guild or friends [sad face] I really can't do. My subscription runs out in 8 days and I guess I'll wait with resubing for the next 2-3 weeks until the whole raid is LFR'able and then try it.
So again, can someone please help me understand why LFR raiding is not a thing from day 1 of the release?
When I first started playing, I tried to solo almost everything in WoW, so I understand your position. But short answer is: you have to find people to play with to get the full experience.
WoW has always encouraged and emphasized social interaction and team building. The better the reward, be it story or loot, has always come with more of a challenge - and those challenges will increasingly require multiple people, group composition, coordination, planning, and communication. LFR is typically regarded as the lowest tier of difficulty, where most of the challenge comes from other players either being lazy or flat out toxic.
I'd recommend trying to find a social guild to join, one with many active players and voice chat. See if you can find some friendly people to attempt some mythic dungeons together and not rage out on each other when something goes wrong. That or use the group finder and friends list: start your own group for a dungeon and make it clear it's a chill/learning run. Then if you run with some person and you like how they played/behaved, toss them a friend invite. Once you get a good network of familiar players, you can experience the higher end content much more easily.
Don't be afraid to put your hand out in game and try to meet and play with others. Trust me, it's a much more satisfying experience than spamming LFG or sitting in a queue for hours
Most satisfying thing so far in BFA is the Tiragarde Sound scenario where the horde helps the pirates mutiny and as a elemental shaman you click Purge everytime Captain Rennik (probably spelled wrong) uses "Azerite potion" to get stronger. He goes all big and musculary and the you pop his ballon muscles with Purge. I don't know it that's really sad or just sad that either or BFA is that bad or I have really low standards regarding fun these day (Insert thoughful emoji here)
