In case you are keeping Track this is Video # 97 of Classic Car ChitChat Videos!
I hope my Classic Car ChitChat videos make you smile. I do them in my spare time because I truly love cars and my intentions are simply to honour the beautiful cars I get to see and to really understand the passion and love of the vehicle by the driver (or caretaker as Jay Leno would say) of the car. I also understand too that my videos perhaps lack the polish calibre of great UA-camrs like: Doug DeMuro, Scotty Kilmer, and of course my favourite Supercar Blondie. I also know that I can’t even come close the quality & finish you get from the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and the boys at Top Gear. I think they use a little fancier equipment than my little iPhone… LOL
Mission Statement:
My Objective through creating these videos is to shine the spotlight on people who love their vehicles whether it be a car, motorcycle, or even a bicycle…. Bottom line is if it has wheels and you love it then let’s show that passion to the world!
Equipment Used:
Camera
Just an iPhone SE (Nothing fancy - which proves anyone can use whatever you have handy to make a video… you don’t need really expensive equipment)
I also use Insta 360X2 which is perhaps one of the best investments I have made and allows me to capture some really cool 360 degree views and also creates a “drone like” effect with the invisible selfie stick attachment.
Gimbal - DJI OM4 - For that ultra-smooth cinematic look. (To be honest... still not quite sure how to use it but one day I will figure it out!)
Audio - Rode Wireless GO II (I gotta be honest… this is really the biggest investment that was made… I wish there was a cheaper option but after the first couple of videos I soon realized that audio quality is important and hopefully better than the onboard mic on the iPhone!

Thank You
Kevin

This is perhaps the most beautiful Alfa Romeo body style ever made. The proportions are perfect and thank you Classic Car for reminding us that there are other beautful Italian cars out there other than the Lamborghini and Ferrari.
Thank you Ken, I agree with you.
Such a great joy to see cars like these get the recognition they deserve.
I agree.
The AR Spider has to be one of the finest automobiles ever made.
So true.
She's a beauty. All original. Ferrari's original colour when they were first produced. People think it's was Ferrari red.
Thank you Benny, she is just a real gem.
I have LOVED these since '91!! Sadly, I was a poor student then, and remained so until availability was pretty much gone....
Love this Yellow, and also the Foglia Green!
Brad, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow ´ordinary people’ who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the ´caretakers’ of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). It truly is such a gem of a car. The way it's proportioned is just perfect too and with Alfa Romeo engineering it truly is an awesome car. Many years ago after I graduated from university I had a choice of either an 84 TransAm or an Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6. I bought the TransAm but I still think about the GTV6 😢
This design is one of the best AR's ever built.
Kai, I agree with you.
I bought this exact same car new in 1993. Loved it! It's a passion.
Wskroll, it's easy to see why the car is so amazing with the right engine note and the "feel" that only Alfa know how to create. Also, thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos are not to be "how to" videos (I think there are amazing videos made by others far qualified than me) instead my focus is to create a platform where "ordinary" people who love cars get an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them.
Ah! My dad had a FIAT 131S Mirafiori! 1.8 great shout out!
Thanks Andy, there was just something about that engine note that I yet to find in another car. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.
My intention when creating these videos is to showcase not only the beautiful car but give the owner an opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. Thanks again Kevin.
@@ClassicCarChitChat I'll watch more
What a sweet little car with great design cues from so many other beautiful Italian cars. Plus a fantastic video and fun to watch.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful vehicle! Color is stunning!
It really is!
Well done for restoring it and bringing back to its glory.. I love that... Us car people sometimes make no sense to non car people.....
Rooney, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow ´ordinary people’ who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the "caretakers"of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). 👏 It truly is a breath takingly beautiful car and koodos to Tony for finding such a gem and loving to drive her every chance he gets.
My first car was a 1976 spider. Restored it and sold it to pay for school. Kept the sidedraft webbers - they're on my desk to this day, waiting for another spider to call home. Some day, I hope.
Flyright, I feel your pain. Mine was a TransAm. If only we could have been able to keep those cars.
Italian all the way through. Beautiful engineering.
I agree Dave
This car is breathtaking and has all the perfect design cues.
You got it.
I am so impressed seeing this car.
So true
Got on! e since 23 years also in yellow , no problems at all, original engine and paint and interieur
Peter, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow ´ordinary people’ who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the "caretakers"of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). 👏 you are indeed very lucky to ownan AF.. Truly beautifully engineer and gorgeous lines.
I used to have an AF back in college. I paid $700 for it and drove it for 3 years and each day I got nothing but smiles and a lot of cool girls too. 👧
I bet Troy. Don't you still miss that car.
I had a yellow one like this in Alberta from 2011 to 2014. It was a great car and I really enjoyed it...but then a yellow manual shift 2002 Maserati Spyder came along.
Tony, at least you stuck with the Spyders 😊.
@@ClassicCarChitChat My pleasure. To add a bit. The early Bosch injection on the S4 made it reliable and low maintenance. Imagine in 1993 it had an engine with variable inlet valve timing. The engine itself was an aluminum work of art. Only its solid rear axle canvas strap travel limits gave away its age. The thing you had to watch for is that beautiful finned oil sump didn't like curbs.
I owned a spider just like this one coolest car l ever had
Charles, you are so right. To this day perhaps the most beautiful little Italian cars out there. I bet you miss the car when you see videos like this.

Lovely ALFA!
I agree Andy.
Great content and nice ride Tony!!

Thanks Dennis.. that sounds like a great name.
Slight correction to the video, Tony is not the only one in Canada to have this exact model in this Ferrari yellow, there is another 😁
Paolo, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. After all we are all the "caretakers"of our cars (as Jay Leno rightly says). I am assuming the second is yours what I would love to have is both of them on a future video. If you live in the GTA, email me😊
Incredible car and great video again. I really enjoy watching your videos so please keep them coming. How are you creating the drone video shots?
Danny, glad you liked the video. I use the insta360 to get the "drone like" video.
I had always wanted a 60's Alfa Rome Spider but this one just made it my new love. Classic Car Chitchat is this car for sale and If not how much will it take for you to sell it? ❤
Julia.. I don't think it's for sale.
How much alpha romeo spider veloci 1989 pls I want to buy one from canada
Beautiful Alfa veloce …. The channel must a better understanding about the car before the interview… specially when they talk about the engine… sorry but it is an Alfa man.
Daluidi, I appreciate your comments. I deliberately do not research the cars before meeting the owner. My objective is to hold the camera and with the hopes that the owner can share their love and insight into the vehicle. It is for me allowing a platform for the car and her owner to shine! (Pun intended).
I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.

The interviewer should have done SOME research in advance. Jeez! Beautiful car though.
Deargdoom, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. I deliberately do not research on any of the cars I make videos of. My intent is to allow the owner to share information about their beloved car and my role is to try and hold the camera straight and learn as much as possible about the car. My videos are intended to be informative and more than anything fun.
