so in this role you're generating leads for traders, if we look at this role in terms of the forex market, so how are you selling? BDE's are generating the leads for traders/sellers to close the sale, so why do all the BDE job roles say that you, as a BDE, need to achieve the revenue targets?

Everyone has revenue targets. Check the job description on the BDE job. BDE means different things to different people.
