With all the recent fires so close to home it got me thinking about maybe some way of adding a pouch to the shoulder, thigh, or arm of the suit for a small 10 min refillable compressed air suppply (normal air opposed to pure oxy so it wouldn't draw or enhance the fire in any situation). Then fitting a mouthpiece into the helmet design and run a hose though then just use that as your air suppply for the duration of the race so if anything happens you have no risk of smoke/fire inhalation and can remain calmer which is always beneficial.

Engineers need to spend a few years servicing systems before they should be allowed to design them. They would notice design flaws and learn. Instead, we have dumb kids straight out of college designing systems on cad that a seasoned mechanic could pull off the top of their heads.
