Man did I love those years!! I can name all the players on the Cowboys then. Danny White is one of my all time favorite QB's. And he even punted!! What a talent.
He definitely was. No one could have followed behind Staubach. White inherited an aging team and won a ton of games and 3 straight NFC Championship games and the loss to San Francisco was not his fault. He was having a great year in 1986 when he severely broke his wrist which was essentially the end of his career. Very good QB!
Roger the DODGER was a great competitor & Service man NAVY & didnt start NFL TILL 27 Yr of age.. but you can never forget Danny White #11 he was very good Qb til 1986 then came Steve Pelluar 1989 we hit rock bottom
Danny White was really a good quarterback he unfortunately had to followA legend and Roger Staubach, but he did a great job and almost led them to the Super Bowl…. if not for the legendary catch against San Francisco
Danny was my guy!!! Still, to this day, my favorite Cowboy!!!
Jersey is in a frame above my bed!!

Actually the longest td pass he had to Springs was in 1983 not 1980.
OH, WHY don't you guys have Danny White getting sacked by Dexter Manley in the 82 NFC championship game?
EVERY quarterback gets sacked at some point, just like EVERY boxer gets knocked down.
