Mouse lady, as long as you give me credit, you may show it as many times as you like. They are made to be shared and viewed by everyone. I do them so people may learn but would be happy if I was just acknowledged.
You absolutely are - and I've told my latest student to check out your UA-cam channel as your videos are the best I've seen at sterile surgical practices. Cheers!
Nurse Clark, That Was A Really Fantastic Video About Closed-Gloving Technique. And I Have A Requested Video For You To Do On Your UA-cam Channel Because I Haven't Seen You Record Videos For A While. So Can You Do A Video Of Closed-Gloving Technique Without The Surgical Gown But Using A Jacket Or A Sweater For The 2nd Closed-Gloving Technique Video I Would Really Appreciate You Making That Requested Video. So That I Can Teach My High-School Classmates This Really Easy And Simple Technique With A Jacket Or A Sweater.
I learned this very technique wearing a cardigan (sweater ). This is how I practiced so they could just do this exactly as it is. Thank you for your kind worlds. I promise to do a new video soon.

I am no surgeon. I am a nurse. However I would say that if this is what you are used to then this is what will become normal. Most surgeons with whom I work, double glove and always have.
@@fioredigirasole9075 yes. I meant that I don’t perform surgery. For working with equipment, double gloving is totally fine. I have worn two pairs of gloves whilst “scrubbed” for over 20 years. It is absolutely no problem.
why two pair of gloves? what is the difference between green and others? it is the same farbriquant for the two pairs on your viveo I noticed that the lessai green gloves see folds when the second paycheck put it on, you don't mind can you tell me who offers them if it pleases you
We wear two pairs of gloves as an extra layer of protection. The green pair is called and indicator glove and if you have a puncture, any moisture in the areas of that puncture will go between the two layers. The green then “shines” brightly making it obvious. You can then change you top gloves and inspect the under gloves. If the under glove is punctured you would then removed it by grasping the glove and gown cuff together and pulling it off. This allows the hand to retract and you are ready to do the technique again. Providing you haven’t had a skin puncture, in which case follow your local policy.
The white cuff comes from a sterile pack the same as the rest of the gown. If you don the gown correctly, your hands will never come through the cuff and therefore not contaminate it.
It is sterile (the whole gown and every part of it goes through the same sterilization process) but it's called 'unsterile' as a warning because your fingers are inside and your fingers are not sterile. So it's just a head's up to be careful and not let your fingers poke out and contaminate the edge. Same thing with drapes, the whole drape went through the sterilization process but the bottom of the drape is called unsterile because it will eventually touch unsterile surfaces (such as the patient's body), edge of table, arm boards, etc when it lies to rest.
Thank you for this video, it is the technique that I used for my skills test and it was much easier than the way I was shown by my instructor.
You are most welcome. This is exactly why I make them.
Your methods of understanding is so good mam in both of the open and closed method of gloving
Thank you for clearing my doubt
Thank you very much.
Nice technique mem.
Nurse Clark! This video is amazing as well - could I have permission to show this video during my class as well?

Christian RIOS I’ll see what I can do.
How much for green gloves
Bryant Lester I don’t sell this kit. I’m sure it is readily available though.
With the gloves you don't lose too much sensitivity during surgery you work well?
