@@psykodactyle For time stamps? I mean they're already sitting at the top of the comments. Credit is great but the whole point for people sharing timestamps is just to be convenient for people. Not saying you can't credit them but it's a weird thing to come in and make EXTRA SURE it's done you know?
What I got from the ending and extras is this: A human man who runs the orphanage takes Susie in. Susie doesn't fit in but does love Noelle and has a kinship with YOU. Somewhere along the line, the caretaker vanished and was used as a puppet by Manos. Despite any warnings, Susie went into the forest in search of answers to what happened to the caretaker and her mother. Her fate was sealed as soon as she entered the forest; as soon as she made her first step, she was infected with "the gift" and was easily manipulated by Manos. No longer in control, Susie was puppeteered and made to carry out the killings of Manos. Unable to tell anyone what was happening, she asked Alphys to turn her into a robot. Whether this is an attempt to get Alphys to kill her or just to strip her of her emotions is unknown. Susie dies and becomes the final sacrifice for Manos, YOU falling down with her. The events of the game occur, and the two infected, the last traces of Manos' influence, stand at the edge of life and death, unwilling to die and unwilling to kill each other. They wait until their bodies rot, nobody knowing the truth of what happened to them. Years later, Noelle, struck with grief, uses Susie's ashes on a flower to bring her back to life.
The photo in susie's room says "A crumpled photo sits in the corner, as if someone didn't want to look at it. It depicts Susie and a human. It was taken in the orphanage. They look close. She's even smiling in a way you haven't seen before. Also... She doesn't have her glowing eyes here. But the human does." 2:05:59 I think this makes a lot more sense. Also, i think only in the other route, in the Noyno flashback scene where the Hero meets Noyno, you can see the Hero's glowing eye after they insult Noyno. I know you won't do the other route, but I may be one of the few to even know about this since in New Game Plus you can skip that scene.
The ad I got before this vod was an AI woman going on and on about how good a 60 year old man was in bed. I wish I was making this up. I’m genuinely scared
dude . had a similar experience when my grandfather passed recently . our entire family came down for the funeral and one of the best parts about my grandfather was how he was able to bring us all together even when we hated eachother. and then my uncle and my mom’s boyfriend tried to install a TV in on the back of the house outside.
Right now the health of my cat is uncertain but it’s really not looking good. It’s late in the night as I am typing this, my cat is sleeping in my room while I have bunkered down in the guest room. Hearing Derek talk about his dog, and talking about his grief has kinda helped me process some of the emotions I’m going through as silly as that might sound. Thanks Salty
I think i got why Susie calls them protagonists the tic is in what she wants the "protagonist" to be think about it, what does a protagonist do? it defeats the antagonist, it removes the evil from the world susie wants to die, so calling potentials a protagonist, is another way of saying that they'll be the one to kill her. to kill the antagonist, and be the hero of the story Susie accepts killing YOU twice, despite not wanting to, in order to get them to fight back and to appease the micro organisms
I believe YOU died in that chamber of light, The Future tells YOU that their life is going into its final hours, and while that could be considered as YOU dying in the orphanage, YOU only spends a few minutes in there while they spend hours in the ghost realm. Susie killed them, and it means Susie's journey was pointless.
So, I've never EVER seen that Mary cutscene before but I think it might have been in the minor update that changed the scene where you control the walls right before it to be less janky
Thank you salty~! Also Dog Island actually has a SEQUAL if you want to stream it someday.. its called "Petz Dogz 2" ONLY FOR PS2.. those other versions are knockoffs of the true game..

It's actually using a song from Drakengard on the PS2! Which is funny because that ost is one of the most experimental, deranged game soundtracks ever made, and it's heavily debated whether it was all on purpose or because of budget restraints. I'm of the mind it's both.
@@CheezVT That's so interesting! Thank you for the replying, I've been browsing the OST for the last 30 minutes and you can consider me fascinated lmao
@@iskraiskra_9007 You should definitely check out Drakengard the game itself. You're gonna have to emulate it since it's not on anything else and I'm sure copies go for tons of money, but it's definitely a fascinating game.
