£11 each isn't really that bad for a burger meal and a coke. Even McDonald's quarter pounder meal is about £7 for some frozen shite. His prices aren't cheap nor are they expensive tbh.

you wash your hands so often that its bad for your hands. You're stripping all the protective oils and are more at risk of getting dermatitis or similar. Better off wearing gloves.
As a chef myself sometimes gloves are less sanitary. He would have to replace them often, and with the high heat from cooking sweat could easily drip out of the gloves.
