Bought the vsett 9+ for my 12 year old 2 weeks ago and I liked it so much that I bought myself a Roadrunner rs5 max. I felt the same way you did, I felt like a kid again on it 😅. These scooters are definitely a blast to ride.
Same here, very good oratory/story telling and what I call 'constitutional comedic relief' (yup just made that up if you couldnt tell). I could, perhaps, possibly, listen to you without you doing something cool like riding around, maybe, conceivably, I dont know 🤔🤷♂
I have an Ecells 5 Star, a guy that lives on the next block has a Wired bike. There built is similar but I have the sweet looking gloss black with gold wheels his is green.
I really like both companies products, and I think they have alot more in common than different, and we all know competition is good for us the consumer. I have a feeling that Ecells may provide better service compared to Wired (just a feeling, no exp), but something has been erking me lately with Ecells. They are supposed to be the Ebike Vets, compared to Wired, so they already have a solid base in the ebike market but lately Ecells and influencers are out in force pushing hard on this Wired 'death wobble'. To be fair, alot has been ecells influencers but Ive seen the actual ecells channel dramatizing the noises coming from Wired bike, which is simply the padding missing on rear battery. Im not saying its not happening, but its not happening with the frequency they are pushing it to be, nor the intensity. Id say refer to Citizen Cycles wobble test video, but he is kindve a Wired influencer, the same way Stay Connected w/ EV is for Ecells, so that test may not be unbiased, but it seemed legit. Im very happy that you and your neighbor both like your bikes, as thats what its all about, but I see alot of unnecessary tribalism, mostly by Ecells. I know its a sales tactic but it also has a side effect of making you choose a camp, Im like why cant we like both? It reminds me of the current political environment, where higher ups use division to capitalize on winning based on some form of propaganda. With Ecells, its trying to snatch sales, which Im fine with, but I dont like the dirty ad campaign way theyre trying to do it, instead of just letting their product, pricing and service do the talking, which are at high level. I wouldve thought with Ecells being the more established outfit that itd be Wired attacking Ecells, but Ive never heard Wired say anything about Ecells, apart from their webpage tagline, but that doesnt even name them outright. Have you seen or heard any of this, or is it the infamous algorithm manipulating me because I showed interest at some point? I kindve hope thats the case honestly? Well, that is alot more than I intended on writing so sorry about that... No rush or expectation for reply, but thanks if you do!
I have this scooter just for 3 months, and got 4 flats already (2100km). Using that machine for everything, ride this scooter to the city, to the office, to the forest. Will try to get rid of puncture with tip i saw on fb group. Cut one tube and put that tube inside another tube. Double protection, probably worth trying.
you can get tubeless tires i believe, i would strongly suggest doing that if you can, it supposedly fixes most if not all problems with constant flats.
A hybrid rear tire and no punctures after nearly a 1000 miles. And i run the tire pressure at 56psi around the city or the recommended when heading off-road.
If this video is 2 months old, why is it that you have the original display, or the first Vsett 10+? Im keeping mine and have already clocked 4,500km but have ordered the new & improved Vsett 10 Appex. 4-piston brakes, a removable battery, better lights, 2 x 1500w motors, upgraded suspension and its nearly all black....but a little pricier.
Man on a couple of those street cross gutters I thought well this is the end for ol' Ruger. Then I remembered your the one that edits the video. lol. I saw those accessories on the bars and thought "am I on the right channel?" but I also thought, "there's room on the left for a water bottle holder". 😁
I shoulda panned around to the back of the scoot and bragged about my toaster oven...but, you know, don't wanna trigger the toaster-oven-less... 🤣 RUGER
About 15 yrs ago, before the whole battery op vehicles really took off, I bought a gas powered skate board but it didn't have any bars. It had a wired handheld trigger/braking mechanism and really I quite liked it. The only thing that I didnt like, and it turned out to be a biggin, is the drivetrain wasnt well thought out, so they placed the drive chain near the right side rear tire, and the brake on the left side, so every damn time I altered acceleration, and especially so when going direct to braking, I had to counter that torque with a hard twist of my body, or Id go flying. A really horrible design but it worked getting me to work, for a while. I even THOUGHT I had it down packed, but then one day, I was going 50mph rippin down the road, an asshole did how they always do to motorcyclists and pulled right out in front of me. I hit the brake and the rest was a rough recovery after a concussion and the dynamic duo of broken clavicles - yes plural... I place responsibility for that squarely in my own lap, but I wouldve liked to have pee'd in that guys car though 👀 Morale of that LONG story - handlebars are very niiiice!!! especially when going over 20mph!
I am running a isiinwheeel s9max scooter with solid hard rubber tires i nick named it Christine never dies just keeps on going I plan on getting a more powerful scooter to climb up hills on
I really want to buy one of these but alittle worried if I’m making the right choice, I can change the tire, bleed the breaks and any minor maintenance but I do not want anything to do with replacing a damaged controller or motor and that’s why I’m alittle concerned about buying this scooter
Yes, I understand what you are saying. But if you have a little wrench experience, it is doable. I hate changing tubes but it can (and must) be done on these things. Controller I have yet to deal with. RUGER
Always enjoy your video's. I was worried about you spending that ten bucks and was ready to start a Go Fund Me account for you😂😂 gotta add, I don't have big enough b-lls to ride a scooter on these $hit Indiana roads! It's rough enough on my fat tire😊

I’m also here in Phoenix and I’m doing my homework for my first e-scooter, just to have fun and ride around town. I think I’m set on the INMOTION RS.
