Personally I think that the Avanti is a better option for more entry level distance runners or people who have problems with calf pain after running in spikes. Just because they're less aggressive than the dragonfly, and they're much more comfortable over longer races because of the extra padding and the heel and throughout the whole shoe. I like both, but I would choose the Avanti for anything 2 miles and up and the dragonfly for anything lower
Interesting! I don't find the dragonfly to be too aggressive, but I do see your point for sure. I actually used the dragonfly for 5k on the track and thought they excelled personally, and the weight difference plays a factor for me as well in longer races. Thanks for sharing your experience! Always love discussing running/gear!
@@vinmeliarunningclub7638 I'm a decathlete, so I'm not super used to long races. So in longer workouts and races they would end up hurting. They weren't as bad as the air zoom victories though, those absolutely shredded my calves
@@yeet76231 That context that you are a decathlete is awesome to hear and your personal experience compared to my perspective as a distance runner. The air zoom victories are REALLY aggressive, and though they are fast, I personally wasn't the biggest fan of them either. Minimizing that fatigue in your body, especially for you as a decathlete, is a key component! Plus minimizing injury risk as well.
I found that the noise was a little less than the dragonfly, but noisier than the average spike. To me, never annoying enough to not use them! Hope this helps!
I would say the Dragonfly take the win for those categories. Lighter overall, Zoomx is tried and true, and those are major factors in a long distance racer. Hope this helps! Thanks for checking out the video!
Nice review bro !! Greetings from 🇨🇱 Thanks !! I will buy the Nike's

@@vinmeliarunningclub7638 exactly, the Avanti is a much more gentle shoe
I personally have wide feet so they work well. :)
Does address avanti tyo spikes make too much noise when you are running fast with that ?
