This was actually a better Titans squad than the one which finished as Super Bowl 34 runner-ups in Atlanta.
They simply ran into the Ravens at home.

Still though, that '99 team entered the playoffs as a 13-3 Wild Card, which was unheard of. And, of course, they handed the Jaguars their only three losses of the season that year, including the AFC Championship Game.

The 2000 Tennessee Titans, like the Baltimore Ravens that season, had a historically great defense. No one seems to remember that about them, too.

Yeah they had the actual #1 defense overall. And had the best pass defense. Same with the Ravens run defense
