@@PaulRodela For 2022, Mario Kart Wii will be the only top 50 for that year. This year, I'm not too sure what I'm going to do yet. I'm at least going to have a Top 50 for MKW every year though. o;

This year was absolutely absurd for CTs, the entire top 50 was a #1 contender tbh.

2022 was the year that taught me that there's a FUCKLOAD of these. Like, thousands. I always was like "top 50 seems kinda limited" but then Mayro did a January ranking of all tracks that month and there was like over 100 and I kinda started to get it.

Such a great year for custom tracks, this list is great and the video was really well edited. Shoutouts to emanresU for making such a rocking track, and everyone else who made CTs in 2022. Let’s hope that 2023 can match last year in terms of great quality!

Fun fact: The music you used for the n64 wario stadium track was created by a japanese composer that actually has a youtube account: Tsukasa Tawada. Doesn't upload much since he's still in the industry, but he actually commented on two medley remixes of another youtuber going and covering as a medley the colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness OSTs

Cool to see that my only creation this year (Red Rooms) was able to make it onto the list, gives me a bit of reassurance that I can still make something of decent quality.

Cargo Bay is my favorite, if you look closely while time trialing there is a strat at every corner which makes the track very exhilarating to time trial even after a long session
I played so much MK Wii before the servers were taken down. Never got to play any custom tracks, though. Am happy to see the game has so much staying power and continues to inspire new and incredible creations :D

Pretty much, I tried balancing gameplay & visuals for the rankings. It all kinda just came down to my personal opinion. Also, thank you!
@@MarioPower55 oh thank you! i guess when you're ranking so many tracks, it's definitely a lot easier and feels better to order them how you personally feel about them and how much you like them rather than stick to some strict criteria

Love These Custom Tracks. I Tried Downloading Some And Put Them Into The Game On CTGP But Whenever I Go To Load Them None Of Them Will Load. It Just Loads The Default Track. Can Someone Tell Me How To Get That To Work? Also I Cant Get The Custom Items I Downloaded To Work Over The Default. Or My Own Custom Music. I Made A Fanfare That Would Play When It Is Showing The Preview Of The Track And That Doesn't Work Either Can Someone Help Me Out With That Too Please.
Did you rename the files correctly?
Why are you only playing as Funky Kong? What's so special about him? Can't you just choose a random character for a different course depending on the character's personality or appearance and depending on the track's location, name or theme? Sometimes, gamers like u need 2 learn that u can't always be addicted to the same character. Sometimes u have 2 play as different characters. And can u explain why u never play as any character besides Funky?
