Hey all! That was my bad for not including Double Dash content in this. That community is awesome, and I should’ve had some tracks in this video. Noted
yeah when that track started i was thinking "are they just gonna shoot you up to the top of the waterfall and skip that whole part?" but i was pleasantly surprised. the addition of the cave past the waterfall instead feels like an actual thing nintendo would have done, so A+ work by the modder(s). just needs some extra scenery added so it looks less empty
Because Neo Bowser City already feels like an N64 track in it's original form. When I think back on Mario Kart 64. There are no tracks other than Bowser's Castle, Toad's Turnpike ( and N64 Rainbow Road I guess. ) that have tangible hazards like the later entries. And a Lotta the tracks kinda blend together being wide, large, long corridors in Mario Kart 64. In comparison, Neo Bowser City is a relatively simple track with no major hazards. It's boring to drive on without the chaos of items because it's just a lot of long, winding curves. The rainy weather is purely aethestic.
@@dragnjames2190 I mean yes but even the graphics, this one has moving holographic guard rails, the Wii custom track only has flashing arrows and the buildings look bad honestly
That is because the whole DS Deluxe mod was never really finished. I don’t even know where the downloads are for the game as I just used an archived version that I saved. 😅
I really like how the Wii version of Shy Guy Falls changed the track layout to accommodate the difference in mechanics. Truly makes it feel like a Nitro Course designed for that game instead of just a fan mod.
looking at the SNES version of Electrodrome you see how far track design has come in the series. it only sucks there's no one who could make a proper version of the Electrodrome music for the mod.
I like N64 Bowser Castle very much, but I have to admit that Neo Bowser City would have been very interesting and unique instead of Bowser's Castle. Actually wasted potential not to have Neo Bowser City as the third track in the Special Cup of 7. I understand that every Mario Kart should have its own Rainbow Road, but I was never a fan of the fact that every Mario Kart always has to have a Bowser's Castle as the third track in the Special Cup. It should remain a Bowser track, but just other themes.
Excellent video as usual! One thing I don't like from the Mario Kart community is the Double Dash reget! There's almost nothing for Mario Kart Double Dash! It's my favorite Mario Kart!
That is mainly my bad for not including Double Dash that much. The community is newer and as the tools get better, so will the mods! I have a few videos that will include Double Dash content planned. I have been getting more and more comments like yours, and so I will include DD more!
@@MarioPower55 Ah I see! Don't take this the wrong way! I appreciate everything you do! In any case, I can't wait to see those Double Dash contents you just mentioned! Have a great day and weekend!
Amazing lineup. Although I don't like the fact that MKDS gets so heavily represented here. Sure, Wii also gets much representation, but -- hot take! -- Wii is just way better for these tracks than DS.
Seeing this made me realise that Mario Kart Wii is the ugliest game in the series. I always felt it looked scruffy at the time and had an off putting hazy filter over everything but it looks even worse as time passes. Whereas the other versions on lesser hardware have a charm and style of their own that looks interesting with these demakes, the Wii ones look bland and lifeless. Thankfully a lot of the Wii tracks have a 8 DX version now. No disrespect to the creators who did an amazing job with recreating the tracks

Part 2 next?
there were no 3ds nor was there super circuit
Very cool idea for Shy Guy Falls, Instead of going up the waterfall you go through to entirely new cave area.

My Favorite part about this is hearing the remixes made for the games soundfont
Yeah! I needed to add in a few via editing, but most of them come with the mod itself. Really impressive all around!
My question is how the HELL did they manage to pull off the different laps for madrid drive?
grumble volcano rocks

How is it that this version of Neo Bowser City is way better than the custom Wii version 😭
Wait… you call this NEO BOWSER CITY 😂 In Europe we call this KOOPAPOLIS, seems a big difference between KOOPAS AND BOWSER

I agree even the music hits better in the Nintendo 64 better

@@Ilyes_OFF1 yes in Spanish too it's just called "Ciudad Koopa" which translates to "Koopa City"
It’s awesome to see how newer tracks function in older games!
Lol everything turned into N64 looks so good, considering the original Mario Kart 64 relied heavily on badly pixelated sprites for its visuals.
That MK8 bowser's castle should have used the tick tock clock pendulum instead of a stationary spike ball.
That is because the whole DS Deluxe mod was never really finished. I don’t even know where the downloads are for the game as I just used an archived version that I saved. 😅
Why is there an abysmal lack of Double Dash content?
From what I'm aware it's becouse of the difficulty to mod Double Dash. Tho, I could be completely wrong
Or Super Circuit?
“It could potentially be reflecting on how Nintendo gave DD barely any attention in the BCP”

@@TheManOfManyNames. SMK modders: nope.
It ends in Ermii Kart with Vinesauce and Shrek on it. What a jumpscare.
the Mario Kart DS remakes look the best out of all of them. The Wii tracks look empty and creepy. Also the N64 remakes are pretty good.
I really like how the Wii version of Shy Guy Falls changed the track layout to accommodate the difference in mechanics.

16:54 GCN Mario Circuit on Mario Kart 64
kinda disappointed because the songs for the SNES weren't in the game's soundfount
I sadly couldn’t find any SNES remixes for them.

Damnn super imprisive
Defintly the ds and n64 tracks are amazing
Nobody gonna talk about how Shrek was on Rainbow Road?
I was hoping somebody else would say something
Its crazy how close the ds remix of sweet sweet canyon is
Its cool to see how the fan remakes are too good! Better than the MK8/8DX Retro tracks!
The koopa cape remix sounds so good man I wish we got this on the ds now
Hey lets put shrek in mayo kart ds shall we😂😂 21:06
At 9:01, it should have started with the real N64 Wario Stadium and went "Oh wait" then showed the modded Wario Stadium lol
Neo Bowser City fits the theme of the N64 so well even the music as the base background beat of most of the MK64 soundtracks
Neo bowser city soundtrack in mario kart 64 is a BOP
1:18
The mental whiplash of shrek driving in the final track tho
Wish there were more SNES remakes, but I understand how hard that is.
I made one for Wii Daisy Circuit years ago, though I was never quite satisfied with it.
Not the barking soccer Ball 😅😶🌫️ 4:03
I love how the wario stadium just straight up is the exact model used in the ds game ported directly to the n64
So... do we call these "Futro Tracks?"
I love all of them, but I still love the Neo Bowser City won The Best
You’re telling me Koopa Cape wasn’t originally a DS track? Cause this almost looks like it was made for that game.
love that you used NES music for the SNES game
The fact that mr. Ressetti is t-posing🤣
I really want the tracks to be recreated in Mario kart double dash
Shy Guy Falls was so neat
Mario Kart 64 mod that allows tricks?! 😮

Why did you Super Mario Kart 8 bits music and not 16

why do half of these look better than most of the tracks that released for the games they were ported to (except madrid drive)

Did you include the new Mario Kart 7 tracks in it?
Why don't we see tracks remixed for GameCube and tracks remixed for 3DS ?
The MK64 versions are just AMAZING
Cheep Cheep Lagoon remake was by ZPL, not Tock. Same with Shy Guy Bazaar
Why does the MK64 look like that? Mods? (The drifting.)
