Just picked up this game with some friends this weekend, this video is very helpful! In the future, please turn up your mic, as every time a truck drives by you in game I can barely hear you, cheers!
@Mr-Bug-UK glad to hear it, there isn't much content out there that explains the less straightforward stuff in this game. And me and my friends are having a blast with it!
Yeah, it should help people new to the game too, as they've not made an in-game tutorial (yet) for the NPC workers. I actually enjoy making these specific short vids to answer a specific question 🙂
@Mr-Bug-UK This game is like Sea Power, in that you have to learn everything on your own. There is no hand-holding. People get the wrong impression about this game because of the animation style and graphics. This game is not for children, however. The physics are on point and, oh yeah... Mary Jane running.
I've done all of this and my trucks simply wandered back and forth collecting nothing from any of their stops. I'd frequently change routes to places not yet visited to ensure it wasn't a supply issue at the specific location, and even at the new location they'd simply drive there, collect nothing and drive to the destination with nothing. Sold the trucks and bought busses instead and they work perfectly fine all the time with no micro management. Any idea what's gone wrong here?
same here exact same issue, I came here to see If I am missing some steps but no I am doing the exact same thing. this "company" bs ruined the game for me I give up.
So with the company drivers, they'll only collect and deliver things that are available. So you need to see for yourself if the items you need them to deliver are actually able to be collected. So for instance, if you're setting you NPCs to deliver planks to Oji... You first need to get an NPC to deliver logs to the sawmill so that it produces planks to deliver to Oji. This got me confused too when I first started with NPC workers. But once you have it mastered, it's very helpful
@ I was pretty annoyed yesterday but I'm going to give it another shot today, might just focus on the bus company first like @RippingWieber, then establish supply lines to make building my first garage a bit easier so I don't have to do all the material hauling myself. but I refuse to give up on this game even with its flaws its the game I've wanted ever since I started playing ATS/ETS2 If I give up I'd never forgive myself.
I’m trying to make a bus route but it keeps telling me No Bus License Part. What does this mean? I’m using the smallest bus even though I’ve leveled up to the next one. I can’t figure it out at all.
Yes, you're 100% right on that and it's actually a mistake during editing. Because my headphone volume had been knocked down to around 60% volume by mistake, I actually never noticed how loud it was during editing, so there are a few vids around this one that are a bit loud but it had been fixed now and to prevent it happening again, I don't edit with headphones anymore 🙂 tell your ears I apologise for the volume on these few episodes
Yeah I can’t agree that it’s confusing, but it’s certainly not a super prepared video. Can’t really blame the guy he’s like one of 5 content creators for this game 😂
Now after someone else made that bus noise comment on the previous video, this is comedy gold here 😄
Yeah, my bad. It's still terrible 🤣 have already recorded ep25 too so that won't be any better either 😂😂😂
Great tutorial on this. I just started the game and i love it. Thank you YT algorithm .
Glad you're enjoying the game so far. It has so much potential for endless hours of gameplay
Veeeeery useful!
Thanks
Glad you found it useful. You're welcome 😁

Happy to help. I enjoy making clips like this, so feel free to request any time 😁
@Mr-Bug-UK ok, thanks, and keep up the good work. You are doing amazing
Very kind of you to say. I really appreciate that. Thank you 😁
@Mr-Bug-UK your welcome

Hope ypu enjoy the game as much as I do. I have sorted the audio out in the later episodes 🙂

The the student becomes the teacher. Very nice video. Yeah I updated the profile. :)
I wondered who this was for a minute 🤣
Great video for the young'uns.

The supermarket delivery on the truck route is only available in 7.10
This is true

Hahaha this company crap makes no sense

it's the same as a taxi. Gotta go to the tuner and buy a bus license, I think it's 20k
@ ohhh. Thank you so much. I knew it had to be something simple that I was overlooking.
Glad you got it sorted. Thanks KittyLord 🙂
@ It's my pleasure sir!
yeah....Kira flatbed can't pickup containers...
I don't remember the part that you're referring to, but I may have meant the Kuda flatbed thing that hauls the containers
you should lower the game volume a bit.. I play the game with low volume while watching videos and the random engine noise is jarring

ur game is 2 loud bro.... WAY to loud... and like default loud engine in settings is unbelivable... cant even hear u at points in the video... do fix
Yeah, that was an error for a few episodes back then. But it's fixed now
