You would think... But actually it isn't haha. It just contrasts against the green of the Bug. Lime green is my favourite colour. The purple started back in "My Garage" where I found a really nice pearlescent purple paint and just kinda stuck with it

Edit: I just re-read that and noticed the 1FDR part. I'll definitely give that a go 👍🏻 I tried the 13spd at the start, all my trucks had it... It is good, but it just changes gear far too frequently to climb efficiently

@@Mr-Bug-UK I found I like my Jemusi Semi with a 6spd MK1, 3.55 rear end. Which, IRC Lets you go about 55kph in 6th - Lo, which for me is fast enough off road.

I'll give that a try today and see how it fares on the coal run

Yeah, Dumpy worked pretty well in a lot of places, but I just got fed up with it keep wanting to lie down and have a nap every 7 seconds 😂 I do really need to get some trucks sorting out the supply runs. I've been so slack on that. Thank you for the kind words 😁

You're welcome 👍🏻🙂 The point of the video wasn't to brag, haha, as even if I was a better driver, that would be the only thing 😂 Yeah, got to lose the driving aids when going off-road, they're a nuisance. You just need to be at the perfect speed/rev combo to not lose momentum or spin the wheels. With my gearing, you'll be set with 4th and 6th gears for the whole off-road section 😁

@@Mr-Bug-UK I switched off lots of assistants when I configured my wheel, pedals, shifter. I also thought the mode only controls auto-shift and that wouldn't matter when shifting manually anyway. I'll try next time. Maybe it's the overall gear ratio, I'll check that as well. From the RPG I set it to be as fast as possible for the boring long journey and it wouldn't matter off-road since I'm ignoring lots of gears anyway and have plenty avail😄

Comfort mode is full assist and shifts early Sport mode is 80% assist and shifts at redline Drift is 20% assist and shifts at redline (I think) You can just turn assists off manually in settings, but I like being able to flick them on and off when needed. They're useful in the rain but that's all I use them for lol

Of course RPG boy made it through the sand at the end. Thanks for the ride, mate 👍 We already had the same transmission setup. And just to prove my point (to myself) I left it in comfort mode. With my settings it shouldn't matter at all. Overall you were much faster or I would say more reckless 😄I blame it on the force feedback and me not wanting my desk to jump around in my room 🤣🤣

😂😂😂 Yeah, I was driving like I stole it lol. I didn't want the video to drag on too long. Didn't realise people actually enjoyed the journeys that I usually cut out. Yeah I need to turn my FFB down a little, I've spilled so much tea/coffee/dr prepper on my desk because of a rock in the road 😂 I've never mamaged it in comfort because on the hills, the TC kicks in and cuts power to the wheels. So well done for that

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it so far 🙂 I have tried in the past with other games and I found that you lose viewer retention for the majority on a long run, can get away with it with a time-lapse clip but then you run into other problems. I found the perfect solution was for the way this series does it. I would prefer to show the entire journey, as it would be less work in post for me 😂 I have just uploaded one entire journey though, so see what you think of that one. I'm up for making some more long runs if they get the views, my audience has grown significantly recently, so maybe it would go down better. I'll give it another try and see how it goes down with the crowd. Maybe I'll do it in seperate episodes as out-takes from the main episodes, that way people can skip them without missing anything.

I can understand people not wanting to watch them all the time, it's not for everyone. I've seen other content creators will make a second channel and post long term content. This allows them to post things that may not excite their normal audience or as a way to not mess up the algorithm for their main channel. Maybe named something like Mr Bug Extended, Mr Bug Unfiltered, Uncut Bug, or Bug in the Wild.

Absolutely. I will reply to every comment (as long as there is something to reply to) as it really only takes seconds. Nobody is ever "too busy" to reply to a comment on UA-cam imo (unless you get thousands lol) Yes, that was extremely lucky timing. I honestly thought your comment was because of that video 😂 but apparently, it's just a coincidence lol You know what, I actually love that idea so much that I'm going to do it. @ I’d like talking. But it’s your choice, what I like about the second channels is it’s usually more laid back and you get to actually get to know the creator. It’s basically a space where you can experiment with whatever you want and it won’t mess up your main channel algorithm. So I guess to answer the question I’d say you can do all the thing listed. So if you want to post a video on the main channel like you did with under the sand where you edited out the parts where it’s just you driving between things you can also post a video with no edits to the second channel and let people know that if they want to see the unedited version to check out the second channel and just put a link in the description.

@@Mr-Bug-UK I forget how long ago it came out oddly difficult I forget what has been done to the game very little but mods make it a lot of fun and they are really simple to install and there’s a good chunk for a game that size

RPG sounds fun but LOOOOONG lol No we didn't struggle at all in the semi's... You have to use manual gears and drift mode (to get rid of the assistances) because the ai just doesn't understand how to offroad lol. I'll buy another one and do a trip right now and upload it to show you

Well if you notice, the trailer is thinner that Dumpy, so even if it is longer, it at least make sense why the trailer cannot carry that much. But besides logic, gameplay-wise it instead makes more sense for Dumpy to carry more than Oldum since it is not made for offroad, unlike Jemusi Semi which you would be using with the trailer as Bug pointed out
