My favourite is As Time Goes By.
I have the entire show on DVD, and watch it regularly, at least twice a year.
My fave was Fawlty Towers, this was brilliant, how about a vid with all the last scenes?
I’ve watched almost all these. My favorite is “keeping up appearances” I’ve watched since I was 15. Unfortunately they don’t show them here anymore

My favorite is One Foot in the Grave, but it also scares me as I sometimes think that I am turning into a Victor Meldrew type of guy. Runner up is a tie: Keeping Up Appearances and Waiting For God.
As Time Goes By almost doesn't seem like a comedy, it is so sweet (in a good way) and romantic. Judy Dench is fabulous in everything she does, while Geoffrey Palmer is always her best partner (he has appeared in many things with Ms Dench).

Actually, several of these scenes are NOT the first scenes...Keeping Up Appearances comes closest. But I believe all are from first episodes, yet I seem to remember that the first episodes of Being Served were in black and white.

Other than Keeping up appearances as time goes by and the vicar of Dibley, I've not seen or wanted to see those other shows
I thought One Foot in the Grave was probably the best of these, but the main characters can be a bit of a downer. It's one of those shows where the situations start out harmless enough, but quickly devolve into near lunacy. It isn't always what they say that's funny, but what happens.
One Foot actually had 2 or 3 very controversial episodes as they were thought to treat growing old and suicide in a humorous light.
If you are under 50, watch it and think of your parents and/or grandparents. Over 50? Laugh at how others might (someday?) see you.
