I love the koreanovela "Jewel in the Palace". I never missed an episode. It was even translated in Filipino language and aired in Prime time TV in the Philippines.
This is fabulous. I got interested in the historical Royal cuisine after I saw the Sageuk “Dae Janggeum “ and I’m very curious about it. I’m glad there’s people bringing it back so that it’s not lost forever
That lady is very beautiful I bet she was a hearth throb when she was young her husband is lucky to have an old soul like her and vice versa she's lucky to have a husband as hard worker as he...

The historical records recorded the ingredients but not the preparation methods and steps. So the recreations are all just made up? What's authentic and what'a not?
Agreed. She talks about Slow food, but slow food isnt about throwing away viable but not "perfect" broth, because that broth could have still been used for something else.
1 piece of meat next to 3 pieces of vegetable on a skewer *facepalm*. this all looks just so bland, cold and unappealing (except the soup i gotta admit). you need succulent haunches and racks of lamb, deer, hog and whatnot, THAT would be a meal fit for a king. all this meal is fit for is "king of the ants"!

I am so speechless by her patience and kindness. What a queen!
I always love korean culture, especially the joseon dynasty culture.. the food is very mouthwatering and healthy.. no wonder koreans look so healthy
You should live in the Joseon dynasty and be a baekjeong slave. You will always love it.
@@-whackd why so much hate? Disgusting as if your culture didn't have any slavery history. Stupid

It like modern lady han and madam jung
In 1450, Joseon cook book
We made chicken and ate this

alla is apparently korean and going to teach me mossad cooking courses
>Slow Food Culture
>Throw away Broth after Broth that isnt "perfect"
Seems legit.
the korean one who was decently attractive was shot or something in 1994-95 which is why she has a fake metal plate in her leg
what a waste of broth

@Steven Universe Go to Africa and help the starving Africans!
